Tabacco tea

I recently bought some tabacco leaf for snuff making and ,out of curiosity, tried to make some tea with the leafs. The result was amazing, despite my reserved expectations.

The taste is surprising,i expected it to be sour, but it’s kinda sweet tbh. Great high, it is more intense but also relaxing ( in moderate use). The effect last for 2-3 hours.

No stomach discomfort , but i don’t drink more than two cups per day.

The only downside is the dosage. I use one small to medium size leaf per 300ml boiling water, but that is what works for me. For other people, it can be lower or higher. You have to experiment, start with lower doses. It can be really easy to overdose using tabacoo tea!

How to do it: boil water ,add the leaf and keep the water boiling for 1-2 minutes while stirring the leaf. Take the leaf out immediately after finishing.

I would use only tabacco leaf. Maybe some additive free tabaccos, but leaf is the way to go.

If you think you put enough leaf in the water, take some of the leaf out. Better to have less, you don’t want an nicotine overdose.

Now, when drinking this tea I noticed that my flatulence decreases . I saw somewhere that this tea is traditionally used in the amazon for gut problems, constipation, parasites and inflamation. Unfortunately i don’t have the source anymore.

You should look up Jade Perique Liqueur. It’s a kind of liquor made from Louisiana Perique Tobacco.

Haven’t tried it myself yet but worth looking into, doesn’t contain any nicotine though. They claim that Louisiana Perique is one of the most precious and rare tobaccos in the world, if so I’d love for someone to make a snuff base out of it.

I thought tobacco soaked in water was deadly (and it can be with too much nicotine), but it’s about concentration. Looking for information, I found some recipes (link below, no affiliation, and I only read the recipes)
