We all know that direct sunlight will dry out any tobacco. But what about indirect sunlight? I bought a bunch of the medium sized smash boxes from Tom, not the black ones, the clear ones. I put all my Samuel Gawiths in them. And then I put them on the special rack I made to hold my snuff. It’s not, of course, in direct sunlight. But will ordinary indirect light just dessicate all my snuffs as well, or is just total darkness the way to go?

Yes and yes!

Jason, best is to keep your snuff in airtight containers in a dark and cool place. I have snuff kept like that for almost 2 years and it’s still “fresh”.
