Suggestions for snuffs with dark fruit flavors?

I have been really into cigars in the past, and pipes in the more recent past, both somewhat ongoing still. I really like the dark fruit notes in my tobacco (and also like anise/licorice in my booze and in the Lowen Prise I have, but I digress). For example, I love Virginia-Perique pipe tobaccos. I’m just getting into snuff, and after buying a few tins at the Chicago pipe show last year, am ready to place a fairly big online order. Can anyone recommend some snuffs with dark fruit notes? Reading reviews, I have De Kralingse St Omer No. 1 and Sir Walter Scott’s Creme de Figure and Auld Alliance on my list. Are there others i should try? Shame there don’t seem to be any companies making perique snuffs, may have to see if I saved Mark Ryan’s business card from the Chicago show and ask him about it. Thanks!

Abraxas Cerise, Abraxas FIN, Abraxas St Casura, Poschl Sudfrucht,

Poschl D also, and Sternecker Echt Fresko. Samuel Gawith Firedance might hit the spot too. The Poschl and Sternecker snuffs are oiled. If that texture doesn’t appeal, you can get the Sternecket Echt Fresko in dry form - it’s called Ungefettet - and then moisten it with some bourbon or a fruit liqueur.

Toque blueberry, SG firedance, purple passion (think it’s wow! Who make it).

Great, thanks gents. @Justin Was thinking of asking specifically if I could get that flavor in a schmalzler, as I want to explore those some, and now it looks like I can. Leaning towards the schmalzler bundle on Mr. Snuff plus a bunch of other snuff.

Your cat looks like mine when he was little. S. Gawith Celtic Talisman is also a good, friuty type snuff, but not dark or heavy. Another you might try is Bernard’s Magic Moments, which is a schmalzler, and fruity, yet dark and rather nice. You just have to try a lot of different snuffs and see which ones appeal to you.

Bernard Brazil Double Fermented is beautiful overtones of dates, plum…my favourite of the ones I have tried, albeit probably a smaller sample of the Bavarian ones.
