Strong snuffs needed

I have trouble detecting some of the more gentle snuffs. So I was wondering if anyone can suggest and really strong smelling snuffs, other than mwnthols.

Dholakia Ganga.

Floral: F&T Seville, Gawith Hoggarth Fleurette, Wilsons of Sharrow Rose and Lavender, Toque Violet, McChrystals Hopfen Schnupf Perfumed: Samuel Gawith Cuckoo and Otterhound, F&T Morlaix and JR Justice, Wilsons Kendal Brown and Jockey Club Fruit: Toque Peach, McChrystals Raspberry Spice: Gawith Hoggarth Mitchells, Molens Macouba and Prince Regent Tobacco: Samuel Gawith Black Rappee and London Brown, Gawith Hoggarth Kendal Brown, F&T Santa Domingo Schmalzers: Anything by Bernard.

+1 On the Ganga. I have a 25g tub and it’s going to take me forever to use it. 1 pinch lasts 1 or 1 1/2 hours. It’s not an all day snuff, but very tasty for an occasional treat. Kamal is another snuff by Dholakia that is rose and musk, but it reminds me of baby powder. Very pleasant, relaxing snuff that lasts as bout as long as the Ganga. Molens/de Kralingse makes Chococreme snuff that is a very strong milk-chocolate scented snuff. Its very lasting, 30+ minuets, and very tasty. Quit With Snuff (Made for Mr. Snuff) has Sandalwood which is a very strong perfume scent that lasts a good while in the nose, and isn’t cloying. The Jasmine scent is also very strong, but you have to really, really like Jasmine, or the scent is offensive. Toque also has a peppermint scented snuff which is a strong peppermint scent, and leaves a bit of a menthol feel in the nose, but isn’t mentholated. Their Spanish Gem is also quite tasty. McChrystals Violet is also a very strong scent. Ones that I haven’t personally tried, but that I hear are rather strong smelling snuffs are Molens/ de Kralingse A/P which is a pine scented snuff McChrystals Clove Wilsons of Sharrow Crumbs of Comfort (Spearmint gum flavoured, like Toque Peppermint, nonmentholated, but gives that minty fresh cool effect) Dholakia Swiss Chocolate is also supposed to be a very strong Swiss chocolate scent.

Taxi red and red bull poschl if you like the moister snuffs. Personally, I think you shouldn’t overlook a good SP or something like Tom Buck

McChrystal’s makes very potent smelling snuffs. Even their “Mild Lemon” is not very mild lol. And their Supermint can quite possibly blow your head off.

McC Clove.

@Pauljmuk I have a tin of WoS SP100 which i love! Clear and strong to the nose for me. It didnt seem “gentle to me”. Not eyewatering by any stretch but came through loud and clear. I already own red bull, which i also love! @Snuff_noob The local does McChrystals, ill check them out.

Bish, what snuffs were you using that were hard to appreciate? I’m assuming that your honker is healthy, so to speak. One view, take it for what it’s worth, is that some time spent learning to appreciate the more subtle blends wouldn’t be wasted. Like pipe smoking, a more mild snuff should start my day, not end it. When I’ve spent the day smoking stout burleys or strong plugs a nightcap of a mild danish blend seems like so much warm air. Today has seen me starting with American toasts, moving to Berwick Brown, if I were to have a mild SP, I don’t know that I would noticed it. Food for thought, anyhow…

I had trouble with the following: Toque Blueberry WoS Lemon Grove-i can pick up just about some citrus? Toque St Clements, as above Just cant seem to smell them. My brother seems to pick up the scents fine??

I have never tried Toque Blueberry, but have had the same problems with Lemon Grove and St. Clements. I still have almost full tins of each which sit in my “useless bag”. They had hardly any scent. If I want lemon I use McC Mild Lemon, and if I want Orange I use GH Dry Orange.

@Nachman Same here, seems to be very nose dependant as my bro smells em no trouble…Perhaps our noses are just less sensitive.

I can smell WOS Lemon Grove with no problems, although it has a delicate, a bit ‘dusty’ lemon scent. At first I didn’t smell it, but after some time of using it I really liked it. I second cstokes4 on McChrystals Clove, it’s the strongest scented snuff I’ve ever tried. And WOS Rose, as Sandy said, has quite strong scent. On peppermint another one I can suggest is Magnet Spearmint, very fine and very strong, sweet flavour.

Toque Peppermint is strong and so SWEET. Best in the West.

I bought a tin of WoS Royal George on the reviews that stated it was particularly whiffy. Seems to do the trick its quite a strong snuff! Sort of like…get toques coke and mix in baby powder?
