Anyone tried these snuffs yet?
Yea I have tried the vanilla, banana, and strawberry. They are all mentholated which is something I wish I knew beforehand. out of those 3 I liked the strawberry the most it had the strongest flavor. They are all about medium grind and the nic I would say low on the medium side.
Stok Charlotte here–heavy floral, with a hint of menthol, fairly moist.
Well, my Mother said one brought me to her when i was a baby…wait…never mind.
I knew there was something funny about you PotPoe. Most of us got brought by a stork. And you got brought by a polish stag. I think that’s a comliment.
The peach is decent. Still with some mentholated component but is in background and helps carry the peach flavor well. The grind is fairly fine, easy to use.
Is Stok a new brand or is it just new to this scale of the market?
Just new to us. I’m pretty sure they are made by Paul Gotard. If Paul Gotard was a real person, he must have grown up in a Vicks factory.
Stok snuffs are being made by Synchro for an “online shop” called Taganza. And yes, Synchro is the owner of the tradmark “Paul Gotard”.
The Latakia snuff is not mentholated and is v nice. Stefan
oh good to know.
Has anyone ever figured out who makes Jaxons? =))
Jaxons is a very very good snuff by Samual Gawith . I really loved the Lite English Toffee .
Damn! You killed the joke! :)>-
I’m sorry delete it !
Haha, it’s cool. I think it was common knowledge these days. Used to be a good inside joke.
Samuel Gawith also makes-_-_-_-_ -_- and -_-_-_- and a few others that were very small runs.
Which ones? I always suspected them to be the maker of Snuff Store’s house blends.
Oooh Hangman? I guess “S”
Just remembered Viking and G. Smith & Sons as well. Can’t quite remember which Gawith makes Smiths, do you know @Xander?
As long as S.G. has been in buisness can you imagine the pounds of product that did not make production ? where did it go ?
I know the floor sweepings went to Dean Swift’s Bezoar :))
Smith’s went back and forth. The Smith’s I have from the 90s was very likely GH. The ones I got later (about 2009) were SG, issued in vacuum tins. Then they started using GH again right up until they closed. The last Smith’s issued were in GH mini tubs, and they even said GH on them.
Heh, I remember people guessing Jaxons maker a few years back. Now I know.
I did not know that Jaxons are made by SG… what I shame for me. Where’s the thread where you’ve figured that out?
@cstokes4 I am so sorry but I must say now that Jaxons is a contract brand made by Abraxas ! you can tell because they both have an X in there name . I’m sorry !
What’s the citrus stok called again? It’s on my list. Are there any new assessments of the others? Not interested in anything banana or coconut personally, but anything else (other than perhaps a straight medicated) sounds worth a shot.

@Filek Do you have a URL of this online shop?
They already have your snuff - http://allegro.pl/tabaka-ze-szwajcarii-a-s-menthol-unikat-genialna-i4063176666.html
I’m a Skok Charlotte enthusiast; to me it smells mostly herbal, a little grassy with just a touch of menthol.
@Filek Thanks a lot! I wasn’t able to google it. Is that a polish ebay?
@Thomas yes, something like that, but it is far more popular than eBay in Poland.
