Stand behind yer product

So I buy about 4 General snuses at a Shell gas station & get home and the “Best Buy” date is the day after I bought them. They said tough luck buddy. No remedy. What ya think???

contact General they will probably send you coupons for free products. They really want their product line to take off. As long as the product was in the little fridge when you bought it ,it should be still usable.I have got some that was 2 months passed best date and I couldn’t tell the difference from the fresh ones that had a month to the best date. When I find them for $1 I buy out the whole lot.

Doesn’t matter imo. Stick em in the freezer bar one. When coming to end of the one you’re using, night before take one out of freezer and put in fridge for following day. I’ve got snus 2 years past date which are perfectly fine.

good to know thanx… I am new to this so I appreciate your comments, Snuffy…

My regular dealer’s stock routinely is two or three months past its best by date. Since I think its only me and one other guy and his wife who buy it from him its no surprise. I’m happy just to have it locally and to support the local business and hopefully help snus catch on here. Even so, I’ve never been bothered by it; its not bad even several months past that date, especially since its kept chilled. They did raise the price by 45 cents a can, and that bit has me a little miffed.

xander…whats your price per can??? I also am jazzed that I can get it locally since its 30 miles to nearest larger outlets. Good to know no one worries about best by dates…

The can of General Extra Sterk that I have open now has an expiration date of 6/2010 and it is just fine. I put all my snus in the freezer till I pop them and have had no problems with freshness. Snus is not so delicate as most would lead you to believe.

once I open my snus it doesn’t go back in the fridge or freezer. Yeah fresher tastes a little better. But not much.

The only General I can get is portions. They won’t order the los when I ask either. Blah.

los is the way to go. Portions aren’t so good in my opinion.

@snuffysmiff last time I was there it was $5.50.
