I have to say that in my view St Casura is nothing short of marvelous. In my experience it is completely unique. Its SP style is superior and unmistakable and the tobacco base is rich and satisfying. However, the rose hints nicely balanced with the darker, complex, earthy/smoky flavors add a layered effect that makes this snuff both enchanting and alluring. Its complexity and nuances are so involved and intriguing that I find myself simply spellbound for a good while contemplating all of its different aspects. To me it is rather like contemplating an unmounted gemstone, turning it in my hand and watching the facets convey the gem’s inner light refracted into a harmonized brilliance. I have never experienced a snuff like it. I believe that Abraxas has achieved another great success in this amazing creation. And yeah, sorry to get all effusive but I tried my best to convey my impressions.
Nicely put Doctor. I’ve yet to try it but when finances allow it’s near the top of my list.
I like it too and posted a short review recently. I do find it rather coarse (the grind, not otherwise!) compared to what I usually take (SPs) but I really like it, it’s my ‘evening’ snuff.

Thank you, Chef @chefdaniel! Although St Casura is not a classic SP it seems to me to fall into this category. In any case, it is certainly the best SP I have ever had the pleasure to experience. Well worth trying, in my humble opinion.
I keep finding quite large (and unsnuffable) lumps in mine.
