Hey Poo-Diddy i can make with you the same thing i made with Stitch , he send me his homemade snuffs and i send 10 tins of our brazilian snuffs (5 gr each) (i received his snuffs yesterday but i do not know if he received my package yet) We have here (around my region) 9 different flavors and i send him 2 tins of the best one!! we have menthols, plains , scenteds (also a chocolate one thats perfect : Rapé Real) , but they are very different from the european and american snuffs!! so if you want to make a trade i will be glad. let me make a list: Rapé Real (chocolate with a little menthol) Moeda natural (plain tobacco) Moeda Bergamota (citrus) Moeda Especial ( kind of citrus with cinamonn) Imburana (very strong imburana flavor thayt i think its a tree) Cravo (tobacco flavor with clove very , very good) Moeda Cristal ( i not use this very often but a thins that is a camphor/menthol one) Moeda eucalipto (eucaliptus flavor) Moeda mentolado (menthol and tobacco)

Hi AP - Glad you got my packet safely. Looking forward to trying those. Now that I know the names, I am more intrigued! I’ll let you know when your snuffs arrive. Hope you like the American snuffs too, and can find a place to grow the seeds I sent. Happy New Year!

Thanks very much for the snuffs and the seeds (by the way your snuffs are amazing man so strong and full of flavor ) Happy new year !!!

Is Spanish Jewel available to order? Who produces it and where can I order?

@stitch, are your snuffs available for sale anywhere? Every review I’ve read praises them and has my curiosity peaked (sure I’m not the only one).

I do not think that spanish jewel is avalable to order pieter i am desperate to try it so i am looking for someone to make a trade with me!

The stitch snuffs are very good snuffdog!!

Spanish Jewel is an originally un-named snuff, it was named Spanish Jewel by us on this forum, made in Spain by a master craftsman. It was available only through a forum member called Pedro, his handle was Macalpe, but unfourtunately he hasn’t posted in months so it may never be available again which is unfourtunate as it was a decent snuff. Hey AP - Glad you liked my snuffs. Growing tobacco is a little more effort than throwing the seeds on the ground, although that can work under the right conditions. It might grow like a weed where you live. NOTE: YOu need to sprout the seeds in flat trays of soil and transplant into the ground once there are four leaves on the plants. To start the seeds in flats, sprinkle some seeds on top to the soil and water from the bottom. Do not bury the seeds at all, but let them sit on the surface of the flat. The flat should be in a bright place, but not direct sun, as it will burn the sprouts. Keep it very moist. Prepare the soil for the transplants by turning over the dirt with a shovel and raking out the rocks. Wood ashes are especially good for tobacco, in addition to some kind of manure. To those who are interested in my snuffs, I am only trading for other unique and hard to obtain snuffs, rather than for money. @snuffdog, For the time being I am not selling my homemade snuffs outright. I am willing to barter for regional specialty snuffs and homegrinds that are not otherwise to be had. I would be happy to consider trades of special plain tobaccos, unusual and rare scents for snuff blending i.e. ambergris, flower waters, etc. The outlook for a 2009 crop is uncertain, since I will probably have to move from my present location within the next six months. The price of progress…

@stitch, I live in michigan and grow vegetables and other plants for a living i’m wondering if you know of any good places (websites) to order some tobacco seed and what particular varieties to get that would make good snuff, dip, etc. i’m aware that my season is probably to short but i have access to some good greenhouses and would really like to try a hand at growing my own. Thanks

Stitch, you are an inspiration. I think more and more about growing my own. You must be so proud. I dream of having a drying shed full of leaves. I would really like to make my own snus too. Someday soon we’ll do some bartering.

Try some of his home made snuff - it rocks

Poo-diddy i send you this morning the brazilian snuffs , so i hope you like the brazilian snuffs man!!!1 thanks and happy new year!!!

hheheh sorry ! as you can see i have a little problem to write in english sometimes so forgive me if i still repeating brazilian snuffs every second. i hope you guys can understand me

Stitch might have some better resources johndeere, but I plan to use one of these two sites this spring and give growing a shot too. I actually live on an old farm so space is no trouble for me at all. The first link has a little info on each type and each varietie’s common uses The second link, coffinails, has some tips and tricks for homegrowers and makes for some interesting reads. 1. tobacco seeds 2. tobacco seeds 2

thanks snuffdog
