I finally got confirmation that we can get hold of bigger tubs of NTSU and TAXI. We will be putting in an order ASAP.
To tide us over we bought 5000 normal tins of NTSU Black and 1000 of each TAXI product. That ought to do us for a bit.

Awesome news ! I really couldn’t remember if they made taxi red as I’ve only seen tubs of the taxi green, I thought they did but never have seen a pic. I’ll be waiting for this to make my next order. Thanks.
We are waiting to find out what else we can get. We are pushing our supplier to source anything new and interesting from SA. They were strangely reluctant at first but they seem to be warming to the idea now.
You haven’t thought about adding any SA pipe tobacco, have you? I understand if not , but I’d buy some.
No, but I am now
It actually fits in nicely with some other ideas currently knocking around related to pipe tobacco, so I am definitely interested.
Can you give some recommendations please. Then I could just ask my SA supplier directly and maybe make it happen quite quickly.
Thanks. I will see what I can do.
What are those blends like?
Coarse, moist, loaded with nicotine, ammonia laden, falls out of the nose easily. If they get dry and the ammonia airs off they have zero nic delivery.
Thanks, I’ve had the TAXI and like it, but I was curious about the pipe blends too.
Oh, thought you meant taxi.
I’ve only had Jock, it was good, different. It’s been a few years since I’ve had it so I forget exactly how it was.
Well I might give it a try if it becomes available.
IIRC, it’s African grown Virginias. Very earthy and unique.
I have a fella who said he had a pouch of Jock and some other tobaccos, I was going to buy from him for $20, but forgot about it. I need to contact him again. He has family down in South Africa.
It would be so amazing if Jonny can get these blends in, I’d say he should be able to because I know at least a few are made by Dingler and Van Erkoms.
OH! Assagi Cloudy is another SA blend I’ve heard of.

Hope this helps.
The latest news on the SA snuffs is as follows:
The 250g NTSU tubs are currently out of stock, so we won’t receive them this time. However, they are now aware of our demand, and they are producing more for our next order, which we will place as soon as they are available. At least we can be sure it will be fresh.
We are adding a new Babington snuff, giving us both plain and menthol options in the usual sized tins, but also, interestingly, in 250g tubs as well.
The pipe tobacco order is on hold until we finish arranging the snuff orders.
We are also exploring the possibility of sourcing any other new SA snuffs that we can. We have made it clear that we want to expand our range, both in product types and variant sizes within the existing products.
In summary: we are pushing forward with the SA snuff expansion. It will take a few ordering cycles to establish the new inventory, but we are making good progress.
