I found a bunch of various old tins of scotch and one tin of Tube Rose unopened for 2 bucks. Of course I snagged it. Any one know what era this is possibly from? The tin is all metal, a little rust here and there.

I checked with a magnifying Glass and I still couldn’t make anything out. I suppose it doesn’t matter, I couldn’t help myself to crack it open and take a snoot. Surprisely flavorful. I’ve never had tube rose before, so i don’t know how it compared to fresh, but it wasnt bad. Pleasant mild smoke scent with a sweetness. Drip was nice and sweet. Psychologically, I think I gave myself a stomach ache thinking I was snuffing 50 year old tobacco. Just a bit of a turn off. Thinking chances are most of the people who handled this tobacco are probably dead. Then it started to smell more of musk than smoke.
