Wanted to try a Snus. I’m a menthol & peppermint fanatic should I start with the Siberia mint or Oliver Twist pellets ? Also are the slim orden / Siberia portions just smaller which means half strength of nicotine?
Siberia is an ultra-strong snus, be very careful. Oliver Twist is not snus. I’d suggest a regular strength snus to start off with, something like General Mint.
I’ll second the General mint suggestion. Satisfying and easy to find.
Oh ok thank you both so is Oliver Twist considered a chew?
Oliver twist isn’t chew either, I think its classified as tobacco bits…?
Yeah, that Oliver twist is odd. I haven’t had it in a long time. I remember not knowing what to do with it.
Oliver twists are tiny tictac sized rolled up leaf tobacco. And I think they are pricey for the small amount you get.
Slim portions are longer and skinnier, nicotine vary’s by brand.
Some sites list the nicotine content, weight and sometime the amount of portions per can. .
Mini portions are about half the size of normal portions. And discrete.
Los snus you hand bake a pris or use a syringe type tool. like a Mortar ,Pris master, or Ice tool.
Snus is a slippery slope .Like snuff you want to try them all.
Some snus online stores run specials buy 10 get 5 free and some have 10% off on your first order so make it count. The shipping gets cheaper after you hit the $150 mark. So get a chest freezer for the man cave cause the misses won’t take kindly you using up all the freezer space. >:)
Snus is definitely a slippery slope! By the time i got half the ones i want to try, i had already ordered 3 months worth. I had no problem going through them all tho. Do you live in the U.S.? If you do, General has a small number of types you can buy at tobacco shops and gas stations. I suggest getting on General’s website and you can find shops near you that carry it.
What vendors sell Oliver Twist Tobacco bits? Just MrSnuff? Or can they be bought here in the USA
i love chewing tobacco and always pick up new brands if i see them but ive never those in a shop. the closest thing ive seen would be just plug tobacco like cannon ball or days work
+1 on the General snus , tried camels first then general has been by go to ever since .
I may have a buddy send me a general to try along with the Oliver Twist bits. Do you swallow Oliver Twist juice or spit like chew or Snus?
@AlKindiSnuff spit the twist .unless your gut can handle it. They are so tiny I don’t think it would matter either way.
Ok thanks guys for all your help and input.
Is general snuf additive free other than flavor? No big tobacco cigarette type additives
Also man wow Swedish Snus must be the good stuff seems they have some luxury type Snus man this shit gets deep. Man lol so am I rite Swedish stuff including General Snus is pretty good shit? Lol
My buddy has the General White Portions may have him send me a few portions to try. Also these sound good too as well, really good lol General Mackmyra General Kardus Faviken General Classic portion licorice
Oliver Twist: stick one in your lip and give the occasional squeeze with your teeth to bring out some flavor and juice. I gut it personally, but I’m accustomed to dip. My local tobacconist sells them at WAY too high of a price (like nine freaking bucks). I don’t find them to be comfortable, satisfying, or worth the price. They’re alright - I’d mess with them if they were more like $2 per tiny tin.
I got that Siberia 80 Degrees snus from MS. Excess sun + excess caffeine + Siberia 80 = rookie mistake. My buddy and I were caught off guard. I had to pull over and buy a bottle of water. Did not expect that from a mere snus portion. Having learned my lesson, I’m quite fond of them. Slightly minty with a touch of spice.
General Kardus 2015 was only the second most expensive snus $109.38 for 150 grams plus shipping. I wish I had deep pockets. Oh I do, no that just a large hole.
