I have my suspicions that I am gonna pay a hefty price ( my career ) if I don’t tone down the snuffing when I am working. No matter how much i wipe nose, clean out the inside, etc… I have been busted twice, but by a colleague who is cool. He laughed both times and said snuff huh, I knew you were doing it, I seen brown stuff on your shirt and nose… It’s not illegal, but its not socially acceptable, especially in my occupation. Anyway, I know by now, I must be addicted to Nicotine again ( cause i snuff easy 10 grams a day ) and couldn’t go 8 -12 hours without JONESING…( quit cigs in 2004 after smoking quite heavily for decades ) ANY SUGGESTION ON SNUS, plain flavored, with a low to medium nicotine level…not a nasty taste, mild… Something i could buy in the USA preferably… I seen people talk bout ETANS… But that I think is only available in the mail… I think tomorrow, I will test drive the Oliver Twist klik klak sampler sent to me complimentary by MS… But it’s got wacky flavors… Any help…PLEASE!
I’m a big fan of Oden’s and Thunder. I prefer loose as it’s better value for money, but if it’s for use at work, you’ll probably want portion snus. I intend to try skruff, general, and ettan loose snusses next.
See ‘original’ snus isnt plain, it has a strong taste often, i found many people dont like it (even i was a bit shaky on it at first). my favourites are odens range (though expect cold to burn more than most in the lip early on, im past it now), i really enjoy the minty ‘cold’, and the loose ‘original’ (though in your situation stick to portion). from other brands, i like jakobsson’s flader (elder) and phantom brown (smoky). i suggest you try standard strength before you look at the likes of thunder and odens extreme. i also intend to try skruff, general and ettan, but im in the uk, its not as easy for me as the rest.
If you are lucky you can find General in the US. Extra lucky you might find Thunder, Oden’s or Jakobssons. Beyond that you will have to order online. Camel and Marlboro snus isn’t really snus, both have a low nic level and the flavors are very sweet. Lots of mildly flavored snus choices if you order online.
General is pretty good and easily available. I would try the original (plain, medium nicotine), the fresh (wintergreen, lower nicotine) or, if you truly want to kick your nic fit in the metaphorical nuts, Titanium W. (wintergreen, high nicotine). I use the Titanium W. myself.
So I only brought 2 snuffs to work with me today ( Lundy Foot and a but of taxi green … Which I can only handle it tiny amounts … Since I’m not a menthol fan, but giving it another try) anyway… I also brought the klik klak sampler with me, I pulled out the original ( now I beleive this product is some between snus and loose… Cause it looks like machine stamped hamster turds…if it is hamster excrement… It ain’t bad ) I have no other oral tobacco to compare it too yet…and I been at work for 2 hours and haven’t went and snuffed once ( at work… I did in car on drive to ) anyway… It is kinda holding my jones for snuff, kinda… I still miss the nasal sensation and the whole process of putting in nose ( I use spoon at work ) I was surprised when I open ped the foil on the original that there were 4 hamster turds in there…it is fresh, not overbearing, doesn’t produce more saliva… So I think I will be purchasing some GENERAL… Thanks to @bigmick… I found it available 4 miles from my house in a store called Tobacco World that predominantly sells cigars… I repost back and let you all know how it fairs… Looks like the TAD is developing, but I am sworn I will never smoke again…THANKS EVERYONE ELSE FOR YOUR POSTS!
Ettan and Grovsnuss are the 2 portions Snus that are as plain tobacco as you will find. For los there is Prima Fint as well as the los versions of Ettan and Grov. Unsfortunately all of those are only available online.
@AANYCAARDS these little pieces of tobacco are full of nic (5mg) enough for a few hours. I like its versatility, very small, discreet and long lasting with a nice aroma.
Go to the General web site and sign up for coupons,I just use 2 today; next tin for a dollar and the other was $2 off next tin. Also those classic blends usually have coupons in the compartment for saving the spent ones till you trash them. I did manage to find one store that was selling cans for $.99 ,I grabbed all they had.
I’m not sure what I’m going to do about this myself. I don’t imagine mini portions satisfying me, anything else leaves a bulge with noticeable brown juice on my teeth; I also don’t imagine myself being very productive without tobacco. I’m thinking about dipping scotches actually, after an initial spit or two they produce literally no spit or juice or anything and stick to your gums like concrete with no bulge. I don’t even know man 
@horus92 Dipping scotches will produce about 900% more spit than a single snus portion. I’ve spent most of my publicly viewed life the last 4 years with a snus under my upper lip. No one has ever noticed. Its not very visible (unless you have a very small face).

really? i never have a noticeable snus bulge, unless i put a huge los brick right in the front of my lip. try it a bit further back… i also dont get the juice like that either. maybe you play with it too much? if still a problem, could try two mini portions at once, on either side.
Thanks@linguist… and everyone… I tried the Oliver Twist at work… Held me ok… … Cool stuff…totally discreet… After awhile, I took it out and for kicks unrolled it … You can still see the veins, and nature of the tobacco leaf…it held me good overall …I only did 4 snuffs at work all day… Well 8 ( both nostrils ) I like it better when it’s fresh than leaving it in for 2 hours… So I will be buying a box or original from MS A smoke ( head ) shop 2 miles from my house has general, thunder , jacobsens and odens… I didn’t check what flavors…I’d just want natural anyway… Surprised they kept in a refrigerator…I think for now the Oliver Twist will due… At 50 yo , I don’t want to add another addiction, been thru way to many and come out fine…Thanks everyone…

Eh must just be my mouth, los and regular-portion snus always gives me brown dripping down on my upper teeth and if I spit my spit is brown too, though I can swallow it with no issues, whereas when I dip scotches it’s totally discreet. But dipping scotch snuff (unlike moist American snuffs) is actually proven to cause oral cancer so it’s hardly an ideal solution. I’m thinking I’ll buy a bullet and load it with white snuffs. Bullets from what I can see of them don’t look like tobacco devices, they almost look like asthma inhalers, I think a lot of people would just think to themselves “huh that’s weird he must have stuffy noses and use an inhaler or something”, if they think of it at all. With whites a small amount will go a long way, and they don’t really make my nose run much, and they match my pale Irish skin so I won’t have to worry so much about having dust on my face. I suppose if anybody asked about it I could say it’s “sort of like an ecig” or something to that effect, no need to lie not like there’s coke in there. But I probably wouldn’t go into more detail than that, as much as I love to talk the ear off anybody who will listen about snuff I want to wait at least a few months before exposing my coworkers and managers to the full extent of my eccentricity
