Snuffstore email.

NEW Processor SnuffStore is proud to introduce our new seamless processing In future, your orders will be processed in one of the following currencies: British pounds European euros American dollars In the past, since we had a USD processor, prices shown in GBP or EUR were for guidance only, based on a market mid-rate. Unfortunately this led to discrepancies between what you thought you were paying and what the bank and Credit Card companies actually charged you. Not any more. The price you see on SnuffStore is the price you pay and will also be the price that is reflected on your payment statement. THIS IS GOOD NEWS! To celebrate we are offering the web’s best prices on select Poschl/Ozona snuffs for the next 2 weeks only. Buy now before we run out of stock. These will sell out fast. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lets see how it goes, wonder if ‘my bank’ will charge me for ordering still? :wink: also wonder if this applies to mrsnuff?

I’ve been unable to use snuffstore.co.uk for some reason. I tried setting up an account recently but it wouldn’t happen. I tried using the contact form to get it sorted - no reply. I tried again the other day to set up an account and it wouldn’t let me as my email was already in use. Wayhey! Progress! Wasn’t sure which password I’d used to set it up with the first time, so I used the “forgotten password” function to get another randomly assigned one emailed through - copied it - pasted it - submitted it - and got a message saying the password and/or email was incorrect. How can that be if they just sent that very password to that very email *sigh* I placed an order elsewhere!

@50ft_trad: sorry for the hassles you are having. The backend is a little different so Pat is still getting his head around it. I can see that you are registered. I will get Pat to reset your password.

@MrSnuff I have actually placed an order with YOU successfully I believe. My issue was with www.snuffstore.co.uk and not with www.mrsnuff.com If you have received an order from me (please do check), then there’s no issues with you, it’s the other site that is giving me trouble I have no idea whether the other domain is an associated site, remote domain, or someone completely different. Sorry for any confusion, I’ve not figured out who is who yet in the online snuff world. Any clarification would be appreciated as it’s all a little confusing Thanks for your help

@50ft_trad they run both sites. looks like they have a couple more too, unless that abraxas ad on the side here saying only from mrsnuff is lying. I also believe they own this forum. I dont remember snuffstore showing in anything other than pounds either, but i never ordered from it in the end.

@Firestarter0 Thanks for your reply :-bd My confusion stems from the “.co.uk” site saying it is based in the UK (Belfast?) and their prices are in GBP, but possibly as auto-conversions from USD. So does that mean it’s US based, sells at US linked prices, but shipped from UK … or … ? My brain hurts 8-}

thats good news. i want them to transfer a lot of the reviews over too, i use them a lot. the postage is ridiculous though, i remember being charged that from mrsnuff before.

@lunecat: points noted. At some point in the relatively near future we will take a cold hard look at the postage situation and work out how to offer different shipping methods (perhaps even courier). We will sharpen our pencils and tweak things to try to achieve maximum fairness for all concerned. Small things like narrowing the ‘bands’ can make a significant difference. In other words you might pay the same shipping for 800g as you do for 999g currently. If RM offers 850g/900g/950g bands then obviously that would be fairer. I am not sure btw, just surmising. We’ll see when the time comes.
