I’ve been reading about Snuffstore’s house blends and are interested in trying them, but was wondering what Snuffstore itself is like. I noticed that it used to have a banner here, but does no longer. I’m not sure if I’m breaking any if the rules, but if I am, just shut down this thread. Many thanks.
I don’t think you are…I know someone that has used them and found them to be rather good in terms of delivery and processing. I was thrown for a bit because they didn’t accept card purchases from the U.S. for a while, but it seems like they have resumed card purchases and have worked thinks out with their credit agents or whatever the case was. I’d say go for it, I myself am quite interested in there Cafe Noir blend.
I just thought I’d try an reinvigorate this thread - I don’t feel like ordering from somewhere that was once endorsed, but now isn’t, without a little bit of background.
I have done 2 nice sized orders from Snuffstore in the past month and the service has been outstanding., The Cafe Noir is a very nice snuff but to let all know they ship most of the house blends in plastic baggies. My Attar of Roses was in a round tin though, and also their SP.
Good to hear @willc, that’s been my thinking. That’s ok, I’ve read that on their site but was hoping that did switch over to tins but it looks like they did for some but not all. @MrNemo, maybe background isn’t always needed, the company is still functional, and looks clean. Maybe they didn’t feel like paying for advert space. They’re a pretty small company so something like that might hit their balance sheet hard.
I would think that the recent ownership change here may have complicated the scenario a bit. I can only tell you that they are a good company to deal with and I have a great respect for the house blends. I would try them all.
Last I checked snuffstore was an excellent source for snuffs and good people to deal with. They used to stock some of my snuffboxes. And I was always happy with my orders from them. I did hear that he was banned from here which I find very shocking but I don’t visit too often so I have no idea how that could have come about. Not sure if the house blends are the same source as the old bespoke snuffs but those were great. Still have some of my favorites like christmas joy, stephens tipple and martian rose tucked away in smashboxes. mmmm
@MrNemo no one is endorsed, its simply advertisng space, not limited to snuff. If you want to pay for it, its yours. Hopefully our moustache wax enthusiasts will encourage Baldy’s to stick around for another term. @onefortheroad. no the Bespoke blends seem to be gone for good, unless ol’ Nicky the Nose emerges from retirememt. My avatar of the Mars face is not coincidental. I want to not have to ration the last three pinches of Bespoke Martian Rose, so that he and I can both rest. My best guess is that the Snuffstore house blends, although unique, are made by SG.

Thanks for the info, gents. I’m only on here sporadically - well, obsessively at first, and from then on, sporadically - and I’d seen some odd threads referring folk being banned, and saw the banner disappear, and thought it best to ask. I’ll put through an order at Snuffstore as soon as is feasible. Cheers.
