Snuffs you once disliked and visa versa

F

J&H Wilson S.P. No 1 now a bit of a favourite. Ozona Cherry I’ve gone right off.

I am the same with Berwick Brown, cant take it at all one day, love it others… I am like that with Florals or “soapy” flavoured snuffs… As for Menthols … you can keep them …

F

The jury is out with me for Berwick Brown. I get a soapy scent with a leather undertone. My nose and i don’t know what to make of it 8-}

T

Viking blond, hated it then liked it. Weird.

F

A good review of Viking blonde on mr snuff; one for my shopping list i think.

I have no idea why I didn’t like it; was something to do with the smell. It’s an incredibly easy snuff to take, though it does tend to clog me up. A friend of mine swears it smells like mouse shit!

F

Viking mouse shit doesn’t have the same ring about it

M

no comment…

I’ve been fairly consistent in my snuff tastes. Some snuffs noticably vary between batches or in storage, but what snuffs I like has pretty much remained the same.

C

Perhaps Viking Crème de Mouse Shit would be better marketing? For Continental flair they could go with Viking Crème de Souris Merde. Crema di Mouse merda??

I’ve had a few of these: Toques Berwick Brown [surprise, surprise!] I have the love/hate relationship with. I really couldn’t get on with Abraxas Dragun Menthol when I first had it (at all - considered trading it); now stragely it’s replaced Hedges as my ‘go to’ menthol. F&T’s Patchouli, I was distinctly underwelmed with initially, but I’ve come to really love that. I very recently brought a tin of SG’s Otterhound, I’m really hoping I’ll grow to like this, but currently I just think of it as being ‘Imperial Leather’ soap for the nose :))

I went the full circle with Toque Quit. Loved the stuff when I first tried it, it was the first snuff I ever ordered. Then I discovered all these other excellent natural, unscented snuffs, like HDT, Viking Dark, Dholakia Sparrow, White Elephant, and Lundy Foot. I got to be quite contemptuous of Quit and left it in my back drawer. On a whim, I tried it again a few weeks ago – and really, it’s an excellent snuff. I just got bored with it for a while.

Bohica. On first sniff I loved the scent for all of about 5 seconds, then hated it for 15 minutes once the secret ingredient kicked in.
