I did twice last year. It went well with the complimentary wine. I kept it discreet. No one said a word. Has anyone had a bad experience? Perhaps someone thinking you were al qaeda, stuffing gunpowder up your nose with bad intentions?
Just flew to DC and back over 4th of July weekend and had no problems with security or people on the planes mean mugging me. I had 2 flights cancelled and had to sleep in the airport. I don’t think I would have gotten through it with that sweet nose nectar.
I do it on domestic flights without a thought. I usually use snus instead on international flights to dodgy destinations in SEAsia, because I tend to carry unopened tins of snuff in checked in baggage rather than in a snuff box in my pocket.
Everytime I fly! Never had any issues
It’s funny how (so far at least in this thread) no one bats an eye, but yet in a pub for instance, people stare. Maybe on flights we all have tunnel vision?
My biggest fear is having a snuff spill on a plane. Especially if it was white elephant or similar. They might ground the plane thinking its anthrax or some shit.
I think it’s only the powers that be would behave that way; only for our security of course. cabin crew are actually quite chilled I think.
I never fly since I have a fear for flying. On the train I take snuff, sometimes with my nose in the corner against the window if people are looking instead of reading or playing with their mobile phones. It wonders me that you can’t be without a mobile in public transport, people nowadays don’t look at each other anymore
I think it was Air Asia, the flight magazine said: No tobacco products of any kind, including oral tobacco.
Spoil sports…
Before mobile phones people stared at the news paper instead of each other. That took up a lot more room then a small black brick.
yes, @igglet but I also notice people are not enjoying anything any longer. Wether it is a newspaper or a mobile. I can remember smoking was allowed in trains until some years ago here, many people enjoyed a smoke. The smoking compartments were always more crowded than other parts of the train. Or people were eating or enjoying candies. I now experience sometimes when I want to enjoy snuff on the train, people that see it look down upon you. I ignore that but it’s not always pleasant feeling. Then I wished snuffing was more common. Hoping for the #snuffrevival
A Snuff Revolution!
Well, to be frank (and i am) i enjoy snuff in part due to it being underground to an extent. If every Herbert on every street corner snuffed I’d be unhappy about it. I’m guessing the internet has saved snuff, at least in the UK. That said I’m happy for it to be a minority pursuit. At times though i wish i could meet fellow snuffers in the flesh. I know one who introduced me to and and one i introduced. I’m thinking of forming a snuff takers meet up group.
