How do you do it? If I’m in the snuffing groove I’m hitting it hard every few minutes. I can’t do that while driving - I’ll be pulling over every few minutes and will surely attract some unwanted attention. How do you snuff and drive?

Snuff box in steering hand, pinch with other hand, bring to nose and sniff. Eyes on the road at all times.

I have a Mr. Snuff snuff box coming so the proper equipment is on the way. I’ve tried a bullet with poor results. Nobody was harmed or anything but it was not “comfortable”. Thanks @Slide

I have these small vials that I unscrew, put my finger over the hole and tip it upside down. I then put the vial up to my nose at at a 90 degree angle and sniff slowly. It works pretty good and can be done with one hand without looking.I also pinch out of a snuff box sometimes too.

I can pop the lid to my snuff box with one hand, place the box on my lap, pinch away and keep my eyes on the road. I’m not all that coordinated, so if I can do it, anyone can. I hate getting caught in traffic, but love seeing the looks I get from the people in the car next to me. You can tell they’re wondering, “What is that insane old man sticking up his nose?” :))

When you pinch while driving ,it looks like your picking your nose to on lookers. With the box car method looks like your statisfying an itchy nose. And no crumbs on your fingers

I usually just pinch at stop lights or signs, but sometimes I do what @Slide described.

I like the Idea of a secured snuff box ,I spilled a number of things in transit, tobacco being most often. I may had no car accidents but I had tobacco accidents.

On the expressway I steer with my knees for a couple of seconds while I open my box then I pinch between my middle finger and thumb. In town I just pinch at stoplights.

Just make sure the windows are up or you might not be able to keep yours eyes on the road, especially with scotches and toasts. Don’t ask how I know this!

*- That just gave me an idea. I have one of those portable ash trays kicking around from my smoking days. It fits into the cup holder in the van and is about the size of a travel mug. I could make something to cover the top, perhaps cut a disc of plastic and glue it on. Then I could cover the covering in velcro and affix velcro to the bottom of a few smash boxes. Place the velcro’d smash boxes on the top of the modified ash tray and voila. When I reach my destination, just tear off the smash boxes and go. This is a timely topic for me - we just got our first snow so I’ll have to pay a bit more attention to the road.

I use a turn tin and the boxcar method while driving pretty easily.

I usually pinch when I’m on straightaways. I have a small screw top tin that I keep in the car, open tin while holding it in steering hand, pinch with the other and sniff. The tin sits great inside my ashtray, and I tried leaving it open, but I’m afraid if I take a sharp corner the tin will fly out of the ashtray. I might have to try @crullers idea.

I really want a snuff bullet built that that sonic shotgun from Minority Report. It would look awesome to reload and fire snuff right into your brain.

I say, chaps - I snuff pretty much whenever I like in the old motor, but try to avoid doing it when my chauffuer is going round a sharp corner, don’t you know!

when i tried taking a pinch of Scotch while driving in the dark, i was over on the side of the road within a minute, nose was on fire and eyes where well watered. Ive learned to use a tap box and the boxcar method works great.

I use a bullet when driving, or wait till a stop light turns Red.

I have been chewing for years and have become a pro at putting a dip in while driving. I have an old chew can I put my snuff in and it works great. Pop it open take a pinch and up it goes. Only difference is its in my nose not my mouth.

For now I make a small daily mix in an empty ozona tin. Left hand on the wheel with index and middle fingers extended, right hand to twist the small tin and tap out a nice hit between the two knuckles. I hold it like that (kindof like a cigarette I suppose) until I have returned the snuff to my fifth pocket. Right hand to the wheel and left hand is free to snoot with. As the hit gets low, I seperate the fingers slightly to allow more airflow so as to get as much possible and waste little. It works well.

The snuff tube I made is perfect for driving. Pop the can, punch and insufflate. Never paying attention to anything but the road

Here is what I’ve rigged up: It’s just 2 snus cans glued together. Oden’s are ideal because the catch lid is hinged. Gluing 2 cans together adds the necessary height for easy access from the drink holder and gives more storage if you are going on a long road trip. The bottom container’s catch lid has been cut out in order that a 10g smash box fits inside. I’ll take it for a test drive this week! Looks like I’ll have to clean the car soon too :))

I tend not to take snuff when I am driving and just throw in a snus instead as I tried it once and a full tin of SG Black Coffee bit the dust, when I am a passenger though its much easier @crullers love the use of the old snus cans mate

That’s how I snuff when I’m driving - pick a fairly stright bit of road, steer with knee, remove lid, enjoy a pinch, replace lid, resume traditional steering method. Of course it only works with lids you can actually get off without wrestling them, damn that tin of Best Dark…

Driving with your knee is easy but then again my vehicle is a pick up truck.

Isn’t this the reason God invented stop lights?

Whe I snuff & drive I always put the heater fan on hot and blow it into my face as the heat seems to really clear sinus allowing more snuff.

I get the opposite effect.

I just use tap boxes, tap all of the snuff down toward the opening in the box, slide it open and sniff directly from the tap box. Works like a charm and requires no effort. That is the only good thing about tap boxes.

I like to take a large pinch at a light or stop, and close up the snuff box and take small hits off the pinch while I’m driving.

from home to work it is 4km with 5 traffic lights. Snuffing is not a problem especially when i wait 60 seconds every red light.

Does anyone stopped from police for check out? And if yes, did they ask what is this powder on the tin? In Greece the police stop very very often for general purposes like driving papers, alcohol test, drugs etc… Any experience on that??

In my country (Hungary) the “general purpose” police check is very rare, and the cops are not interested what is in your car (or what you are smoking, snorting), unless they stops you because you are driving way too fast and they discover that you are beastly drunk

I reckon in the UK the police would treat snuffing and driving as they do texting or using a mobile. I wouldn’t risk it…

If you can snuff with just one hand, and you don’t need to avert one’s eyes to mine into a nostril. I agree that most stoplights give you enough time, I mean sometimes they give ample time to roll up a cig…

I just put what I need straight in the ashtray.its clean and never been smoked in.really small ashtray in my car so looks like a built in snuff box from factory fit.never spills and is safer to do whilst on the road.

I usually just drive with my knees when I find an open stretch of road. I try to be safe as I can, and haven’t had any problems…until today. I was driving along and just opened my tin of Toque natural toast, someone cut in front of me and I had to swerve. The tin was in my steering hand, so when I changed lanes I tilted the tin over. Lost about 2-3 grams! Now I have a good reason to buy more.

I do the cup older with a large toque tin, then seal her up when i get to where i’m going.

I can hold a snuff box and the steering wheel with one hand at the same time with no problems.

@matthefox ive never tried snus besides camel snus, where do I get one of those atthose are awesome containers! Youll have to let me know just what parts did u glue and what glue did u use?? Lol

Recently got my first bullet, I bought it specifically for driving and/or outside/windy conditions. The last place the E-cig was the preferred choice was driving. Anyway so this morning I used a bullet while driving my commute for the first time and it worked well enough for me. I can see how they are not perfect but in rush hour commute it is better than any form of tap or snuff box juggling. I filled mine with the lovely #22, and I would probably recommend a toast for the purposes of a bullet but I am pleased with it as a snuffing while driving solution. Ken
