Snuffhouse snuff box

Hi all, Can someone please point me in the direction of where I can get a Snuffhouse snuff box? I can’t seem to actually find any for sale anywhere. Thanks in advance.

Guess these aren’t available anywhere. Never mind. Thanks all.

Nope. However, you can find rococo snuff boxes. Those are plastic boxes where you can pinch or pour.

These are the closest you can get, same style but longer and not as deep as the snuffhouse boxes

I have yet to figure out how to start a thread of my own so if you don’t mind Benner if I could hijack this thread for a second. How do you think these Icetool snus cans would work for snuff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xohihDrz-Y

they look great and seem very durable, I was thinking about possibly even keeping two different snuffs in this can at the same time due to the handy catch lid. they come in a range of colors and designs even ones with a leather finish on the top. They look good although how well do you think they will function with snuff. $30 to $35 seems really reasonable for what you get

@Aamon, don’t know about those boxes. However, to start your own new post: If you are in the mobile site, on the main page, look at the top. On the right hand side there is a symbol that look’s like the text balloons when comic strip characters are talking. Press that. If you are on the full site, there is a button on the left side that said new discussion, click or press there.

These are what I use: https://www.container-family.com/index.php?main\_page=product\_info&products\_id=28

@Psicko yeah hmm ive been trying to find this elusive button for quite sometime now with no luck. Maybe its because I’m running Microsoft edge on windows 10 ill try firefox or google chrome later. I thought I may have a different homepage to everybody else aha

I FOUND IT!!! So Stoked, may be my eyes but it was pretty well camouflaged within the Toque advertisement aha

I really wish MrSnuff would do another run of these snuffboxes, ideally with one in black. I love the one I have. Though after two weeks I dropped it and broke the tapbox slider off. I super glued it back on, and its still my favorite snuffbox even without that feature.

The sliders do break with frequent use. Best to open the box and pinch or spoon and just use the slider occasionally, when opening the box isn’t practical.

Thread revival! I am STILL in the situation where I can’t find a decent box. Which seems mad to me. Are these available anywhere? All I want is a decent tap box

I have a few of these tap boxes based off the old snuffhouse boxes. However I am in Australia.

Huge thanks for the reply. I was eyeing those on a well know Chinese site. Are they decent? They certainly look like the OG boxes.

Those boxes are identical to the snuffhouse boxes the only difference is the logo on the lid, @beantin those are the De Kralingse snuffboxes that show the 2 windmills, they started using them maybe a year before it was sold and stopped producing snuff.

@benner I bought a load from the Chinese site when they first produced the boxes. Postage was very expensive but I got as many boxes as I could before the postage went up to the even higher next extortionate level. Boxes are the best tap/top hinged lid boxes I have used. However I slightly prefer some flick boxes I got made. As they are slimmer and portion snuff the same every time. Also you can sniff directly from the box with no mess. However the flick boxes tend to wear a bit on the sliding cover over time. Hence why we designed a locking pin on the box and a hole in the lid.

I also don’t mind the heartwood secret boxes and the old Patrick Collins boxes. As you can crack the lid and tap snuff out onto your hand. Then turn the box around and use the lid as a scraper to pile or line the snuff up before sniffing, if needed.

On the red box I see a familiar print of a mill!
