Why don’t we have some new year snuff house awards - just for fun. Categories could be: Best review or series of reviews Silliest comment Highest number of snuffs reviewed by a novice etc etc, anyone feel this might be a fun thing to do?
This sounds like a pretty good idea! Need to be careful it doesn’t turn in to a popularity contest though, “elevating” people within the community too high

I vote Roderick master of ceremonies and returnig officer… And everyone starts on a level playing field irrespective of any percieved ststus in the group.
Well my first vote goes to me as memeber most in need of a snuffbox. J.k. however I like that idea. Though if there is a catagory like most in need of a snuffbox I think I’ve got that one sown up. 
Will there be an award for “most Cheerios pissed on?” I hope so, I never win anything…
I nominate Pieter for most illnesses, and also for introducing us to African snuff. EDIT: And myself for most drunken posts, though I’d guess there may be some challengers.
Anything to keep the website jumping, I haven’t posted much lately but have been lurking a bit, love to see something like this happen to keep things rolling. BTW, glad to see some familiar names still here as well as plenty of new ones. Happy snuffing to all!
I think I have a good idea. There could be a topic where everyone posts a number 1 through 1000, and the closest person wins. I think at least one type contest like this would be cool because everyone would have an equal chance to win. The other suggestions are more geared towards the really active members of the community - which dont get me wrong thats very cool too, its the really active members which have made snuffhosue thrive. But I think one contest where anyone could win would be good. You know…guessing a number sounds kinda lame, but I just mean something where anyone can win. Good idea snuffster
Lets have your suggestions guys. My thoughts were to make it as fun to enter if you had just joined the site and snuffing or if you had been doing it for 30 years. We could have a varirty of things so if you let me know I will collate and suggest a package based on what you are all suggesting. I would also like to see a mini essay prize, maybe something like ‘what its like to be a snuffer?’ Im just thinking off the top of my head but would happily pull it all together with a few more suggestions
@ Bob: Au Contraire! I am in need of a snuff box just as much as you (preferably a silver one with some hallmarks, not that I’m choosy or anything). Like the idea of an awards/competition thing anyway, once i have some more time (later today) Ill try and input some ideas!
