Snuff with Alcohol

J

First of all im a rookie and i want to greet you My name is Andy and i´m from Austria. I hope my english is good enough. My question is if its possible to give alcohol to a snuff ? I´ve been thinking about dark rum oder whiskey .

X

Sure it is. There are already rum and whiskey scented snuffs. There is also Brandy, Gin, Bourbon and a couple that are beer-like. Scenting your own, should be easy, but be careful. Use the Search feature to search the forum for scenting your own snuff tips. Good luck and Welcome!

S

dont mean to steel your thread, but which one are beer like?

And where can one find that, good sir? A museum?

R

It´s sold in the, as the name suggests, Hallertau area in Bavaria (bordering to the Franconian district of Bavaria, where it is called “Holledau”, but that´s too specific for sure). It´s the biggest area of hops farming in Germany. As far as I know, Pöschl is producing that snuff for them. Never tried it, as I loathe beer.Pricelist in PDF

Hooray? :-/ another hard to get snuff. I had heard of it, but thought it was extinct.

R

Hehe, nah, it´s not hard to get. Not harder than this one (though it´s non-alcohol and therefore slightly OT)Dallmayr Snuff

@ Red Star: Ok no more OT here, but I’m beginning to realize my snuff collection will never be complete.

The WoS Whisky is very good. It’s just like sticking your nose into a fine glass of the drink. Earthy, sweet and very moreish.

N

The rum and raisin was OK. It is very soft on the nose, but the scent is not strong enough for my old worn out nose.

R

Indeed, the WoS Whisky is a great new snuff, haven´t tried the other new arrivals, yet. I wonder which kind of Whisky the snuff flavour resembles. I´m only familiar with Islays, and the snuff doesn´t match the taste of these.
