Just trying to find the best way to keep snuff nice and fresh for a very long time, as I don’t go through my tins very quickly at all. Since I use snus primarily for my nicotine intake, one tin of snuff can last me quite literally, months. I’ve been keeping my tins (mostly WoS snuff tins) in the fridge (not the freezer), but I read that this might not be a great idea due to the dry environment. How about throwing them into a Ziploc bag, sucking the air out of the bag before sealing it tight, and sticking it in the fridge? Good idea?

Put them in an airtight jar and keep them somewhere cool and dry out of sunlight. No need to keep it in the fridge, kilner jars are a worthy investment for storing snuff and pipe tobacco.

I have some 25g tins I don’t go through very quickly so I wrap them in kitchen wrap, place each in a small ziplock bag and keep them in a box. I haven’t had any dry out on me yet.
