As i sniff through another smash box of Viking Dark, i’m struck with a notion- 3.5grms in a couple days. One massive cigar, about an ounce. A chaw of leaf, a little less. A pipe of Morton, ten grams. A dip of Stokers, five grams. A cigarette even, about a gram; but that happens 10-20 times in a day. In short, if i only had the tobacco i presently have, i would grind it all, and it would last me a millenium
With hand rolling tobacco I was getting 20-30 cigs a day and consuming circa 50g - 60g a week before trying snuff, but now I’m down to nearer 12g - 15g of RYO baccy per week. Pipe smoking is something I’m just playing with, and would be the first thing I’d kick for sure. Cigars I can live without, no problem. If I was backed into a corner and forced to choose between roll-ups and snuff, the snuff would probably come second regardless of efficiency as with it being so new to me, it would be the easiest of the two to live without right now.
Haha I used to feel that way too for sure but some days I definitely go through over 5 grams a day, still cheaper than smoking but not too much when you factor in shipping. But I don’t really care, I like it so much better. Also my use has gone down a lot the last three or four days, I’ve been watching what I eat and if I try to chain-snuff I end up sweaty and jittery. Does anyone have any idea why nicotine hits you so hard when your blood sugar is low?

I’m also curious about this…
Nicotine actually accentuates the symptoms of having low blood sugar. The alkaloid uses sugar in its chemical reactions within the body. Having adequate sugar supplies will facilitate the use of nicotine as the enjoyable drug that we crave.
That explains the Cigarette, cigar, Pipe, or snuff after dinner. Is there anything better. Maybe, right after the occasional weekend big breakfast, with that 3rd or 4th cup of coffee.
Yes Snuff is efficient, from separating me from my money. I already have enough snuff to last for my great grand children. It still don’t stop me from buying more.
In retrospec, i must smoke a pipe the size of my fist and dip a horseshoe; i think the meaning came across though. I will admit, MYO cigarettes- i will probably never put away, i have expressed my absolute need for freebased nicotine elsewhere here; i go batshite without it. Though, i a post-tobacco-avalibility scenerio, i would probably have more pressing issues(ie food and loading the shotgun).
American scotches are very very high in free-base nicotine if you haven’t tried 'em yet.

Well Juxtaposer, then snuff most be just the thing for high blood sugar, it’s just a matter of doing enough snuff to bring it down
@tboyer I don’t think it works that way.
