Does anyone happen to know where and when the 2013 world snuff taking championships are taking place? I have seen the pics from the last one and I have to witness this competition at first hand. Would be even cooler if Snuffhouse entered a contestant!

I don’t get it. You mean whomever can snuff the most wins? Like, the guy w/ the biggest nose? If so, it sounds as tortuous as that hot dog eating contest.
No, you have 1 minute to shovel 5g of schmalzler into your nose. You lose points for spilling any or lack of cleanliness. You want it all in your nose not on your face. A bigger capacity nose is an advantage, but not as much as technique.
Thanks for the info, I can get to the other side of Bavaria in 6 hours by car…this year I’ll be there! I won’t believe it until I’ve seen the real deal with my own eyes. If anybody else thinks they might wanna go for a bit of a jolly and a tour of the tobacconists in Munich just give me a shout.

@stapf I appreciate the encouragement stapf…I like snuff a lot and I am hugely grateful that it exists but trying to force as much of it as possible up my hooter in sixty seconds is not my idea of enjoyment. So for my part at least, snuff chugging remains a comically macabre fascination or at the very least a very messy spectator sport. However, there must be someone here on the forum capable of taking on the world champ…how deep are the sponsors’ pockets? 
We are looking forward to any pics or vidi’s you can get…It’s all very high school and in good fun.
The great thing is I was planning on stopping off to visit a friend in Bavaria on my way to Hungary this summer so if I time it right I’ll be able to watch the pros in action (and stock up on snuff). Nearer the time when I can confirm for sure that I’ll be there I’ll be relying on you guys for a list of interview questions for the winner
Well guys, the sad news is that I didn’t stop off to see the world snuff taking championships this year as I had hoped to. I had planned to drive to Hungary and spend some time in Bavaria on the way but ended up taking the train instead. However, I have stocked up on snuff but have no intention of trying to get through it all in record breaking time - sorry for letting the side down but I have plenty of time now for training for next year’s event 
Just wondering though - did anyone from this forum go?

Obviously it is a schmalzler they are using, does anyone know which? Does it change from year to year?
@Ivan - no idea, all I know is that you can pick up schmalzer anywhere in Bavaria…there’s tonnes of the stuff
What does the winner get, besides being able to say they are the “snuff campaign”?
I reckon one of us should slip in under the cover of darkness and switch the schmalzer for Dholakia white and up the stakes… :ar!

OK guys I have a big bag of German schmalzer and I am in training - pranayama yogic breathing exercises - the full monty! I intend to starve myself of snuff for at least …maybe, at least a good 15 minutes before the contest just to get my appetite up and then it’s shovel the lot up my hooter. My technique may need a little work at present but I was thinking of inverting a funnel and attempting to snort the lot in one hit. If anyone can offer some sound coaching I am all ears…or perhaps all nostrils might be more appropriate…Snuff olympics her we come!
@Ubert it don’t look like much snuffing is going on. It just looks like who can shovel it in fastest. If you want to win I say practice with Copenhagen snuff, after shoveling five grams of that in; A schmalzler should be like candy . I do think getting that much snuff out after the contest you would need a spoon.
