I’ve varied my technique when pinching so that my thumb and forefinger are no longer in contact with nostril rim. Rather, i hold the pinch slightly below, thumb between upper lip and nostril. The downside is I’ve got what appears to be brown Hitler tache. My grandfather would be horrified.

My technique must be similar because I usually end up with a bit of snuff on my upper lip also. So to fix this I keep my facial hair most of the time.

yes, it’s an art you must slowly develop. Sniff up the aroma that’s between your fingers before actually sniffing it up your nose.

Yes, and it does add just a bit of color to my rapidly graying mustache… Not into my beard yet but hey, there is still time (I think).

I wax my 'stash and it does tend to collect snuff. Just comb it out and all is fine.
