I might be going out on a limb here but I’m going to say SS Black Magic is the same as Viking Dark. I have snorted “Trust Me” a lot of V-Dark to know that smell. I opened a new order last night and had to try Black Magic. I’m glad if it is or its damn close that my sniffer can’t tell. Let me know what you guys/gals think when you try it. Snuffmaster…

Good, now I can tell the guys in the “Help me find more like Viking Dark” topic that can stop the search! 
Just compared an open-for-a-few-months tin of Viking Dark with a just opened tin of Black Magic. They look like the same base but I get a distinct smoky scent from the Black Magic that I don’t get from the Viking Dark, but perhaps that is because it has been opened for a while.
Not liqourice scented as per the reviews, then? I did wonder if they were the wrong reviews. That’s a shame…
Glad to hear this has a bit of smokyness to it. I have a few tins on my order I am about to put in and figured it was just a relabeled V dark, which is fine having more of that at the rate into through the stuff. The smoke quality to the Viking Dark seems to have been lacking(and missed) in the last few batches. Some refers to it as burnt rubber smell(which I never quite got, I found the scorched earth reference a bit more accurate) but that is what made this such a great complex plain snuff.
I think it varies batch to batch. My first tin of viking was very smokey numbers two and three weren’t but my 500g hord is. and my black magic is as well…
