While googling round the internet I stumbled across this article on the manliness of various types of tobacco use (fruity language warning). It seems the author thinks nasal snuff is very manly indeed 
Yes i regularly show this to my friends who want to try snuff but question what other people will think of snuff usage in public etc. It helps to convince them that snuff is only for real men and women who are not to be messed with, still its weird how much people care what other people think anyway. I met a young lad at a barbecue last weekend who repeatedly made the observation that my snuffing seemed a little bit gay to which i admitted that snuffing did have its drawbacks for example when he died from the cigarettes he was smoking i wouldn’t be able to cry at the funeral because if i used my hanky to wipe away the tears i’d get snuff in my eye. A little later after a pinch of Toque Peach and judging from his reaction (the tears rolling down his face) it certainly seemed that young Jack agreed with that article.
Very manly article. I think it explained all of the tobacco products rather well.
This has come up two or three times before. I still say the same thing: machismo claptrap.
Fun article! Also good for use in explaining the stupidity of buying over-priced cigs, over very good (and inexpensive) pipe Tobacco and Snuff.
