Here’s a quote from one German book:

“In 1993 took place Bavariada, Olympic with Bavarian competitions. There were carrying stones, mounting on the hand, chopping wood, climbing and many other disciplines, among whom was snuff taking. Everyone could participate in them, off course if they were Bavarians. The Prussians could not compete, although they were allowed to cheer.
Since 2000, takes place every four years (just like the real Olympics) Snuff Olympics.”
