Greetings! As a lady, Betty, your autonomic ganglions may be different, so it could certainly be cobblers to you. The piece refers only to the male of the species and the reaction to nicotine. I don’t know what research has been done on the female and snuff.

I can’t say that I’ve noticed any particular effects with regard to my libido; but I am finding nicotine to be a fantastic nootropic - especially as someone with ASD, I am preferring it to the ADHD meds and many over-the-counter nootropics.

Your question has triggered my curiosity. For the one part, I remember that some catholic priests supported their use of snuff with the argument that it helped them remain chaste. For the other part, I have been told many times that smoking reduces sexual arousement.

Hi Junipero. That’s an interesting article. I can only speak for myself but I get really aroused and ready to go with the strong plain snuffs that are high in nicotine. It builds up over the process of sneezing ( the mechanism of which shares something in common with ejaculation), the snot dripping down my face and the boogers in my nose that I pick and examine. For me its an awesome sensation. It’s even more fun sharing the experience with others at a snuff party.
