Snuff mixing FAILS

C

Hello everyone, I am new to the group but ecstatic to learn and share with all of you. My fail which I have recently experienced is nearly too embarrassing to mention but for the sake of saving some other hap hazard fool like myself … I live in NC so I have a plethora of American Scotch snuffs at my disposal, I had recently tired of taking the old RR MILLS day in and day out so I began to experiment with extremely small portions of essential oils then moved on to spices from my pantry. Everything was going fine till I believed that I could mix 75% snuff with 25% pumpkin pie spice. The results were initially outstanding…but …the next day I woke with a VERY irritated nose. I believe the cinnamon may have burnt my mucus membrane. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. DO NOT DO IT. YOU WILL NOT END UP WITH A PRODUCT SIMILAR TO THE GREAT KRALINGS CO. I am however still a native of NC and an incredibly stubborn individual so if you know of any flavoring additives or techniques I would love to hear them. I am also very interested in hearing any of your feckless snuffing experiences.

I bought some of the later batch of FUBAR Grunt. To me it smells like the stale ashes of cigarettes or cheap cigars. So I tried to mix it with various snuffs to give it a good flavor. In each case the Grunt overwhelmed the others and that cheap, nasty, rancid odor dominated. In the end, instead of improving the Grunt, all I did was waste some good snuff by trying to mix it. To me, now, Grunt is hopeless and worthless. I threw away what I had. I still wonder why Dholakia changed it.

North Carolinians, stubborn? NAAAAAAAH… (I was born and raised in NC lol) And I second fredhanna. Everything I try with late batch fubar is a waste of time and effort. However the longer you let it set out and air, and I mean for days, the more it becomes tolerable if you are desperate.

I’m thinking of mixing some of mine with Super Chetak, kill two birds with one stone.

try mixing with rustica, and and a molens potpourri. i reckon that would cover it. the potpourri is strong, but its tobacco free, so the rustica is to up the nic.

I made some great rootbeer snuff with Square scotch.

Here’s one-- not exactly a “mixing” fail per se, but worse truly-- when my nose and lips get chapped/sore like now, given the cold-- I dab on some Carmex-- well, did so the other day, then took myself a light snuff of Square— let me tell you straight, I LOVE Square— LOVE it— however, when mixed with the nose healing fume de Carmex — the two combined smell just like an open sewer line— seriously. I guess it’d make a good practical joke or something, but this is one DEFINITE fail.

@general_desaix. I kinda wanna try that now. Is that weird?
