Hi, I have been taking snuff for about 3 years now. I’m from a small town in NC and have readily available access to a large variety of American scotches, but I have recently ventured into making my own snuff and have had some success with recipes I have found on here. I was hoping for some more tips on flavoring because I am having trouble with the flavoring aspect. Also if anyone is in search of American scotches I have access to most. Thanks

You could use citrus peel. Either leave it in with the snuff or twist it over it. Depending on how much flavor and aroma you would like, extracts can be used in two ways. You could use an atomizer and apply it directly. For a milder effect, start with bone dry snuff in a box, and place a bowl of an extract in there with it. I used the latter method to infuse cigars a while back. It produces a mild flavor that won’t overpower the base tobacco. I would imagine that you could also use coffee beans or cocoa nibs as well, or make your own tincures with some grain alcohol.

Thanks for the advise. I just started a batch with some lemon peel and a few other things .
