This may have already been discussed but who has used a snuff machine and what are your thoughts on them?
They certainly are a novelty, great for parties and perfect for getting snuff up the nose of someone who has never snuffed before (pier pressure). I have never used one but have seen some videos on you tube. It seems they would make a great conversation piece. If I were to be interested I definitely would build my own with bells and whistles and maybe a bit taller so one would not have to stoop over so low for it. Surprisingly, this side of the snuff business is lacking in creativity. The market for proper snuff bullets, snuff guns, catapults, and even boxes seems wide open for inventors to fill. I just wish I had the talent.
I used one once at some German restaurant/bar. They’re pretty nifty, definitely a novelty though, they’re far to impractical for day-to-day use, but are pretty fun to have on hand for a snuff party or something of that ilk. In terms of other forms of delivery for snuff, I feel that a highly modified airsoft gun is in order.
Never used one, but yeah… these don’t look portable. Imagine trying to use that discreetly at a bar,
Dude, I got a few of those Poschl things. They’re not bad. Probably the sole contender in making a catapult useful and portable.
Awesome! Does Poschl makes these ?
I believe Bernard makes them
@SIX PHOTO: Poschl does not make a big wooden novelty thing. They make the Automatikbox which is plastic and looks like the Gletscher Prise tin. You put it up to your nose, press a button, and snuff shoots up into it
Remember, or did you read, about the exercise ball pump that I described a couple of weeks ago, it beats the automatikbox by a long shot. You’d think it would blow your socks off but it actually coats the whole inside of the nose completely and you don’t taste or feel a thing for a few seconds, and then it’s still not overpowering on the hit, no matter the choice of snuff. I figure the catapult may deliver about the same way.
@hooked I actually tried that exact same thing using this as a joke when my friend was round :
We were using it for balloons and decided to load some snuff into the white cap and then used the pump to shoot the snuff inside the nose. None of it went down the throat strangely enough but it’s definitely a strange experience and everyone had a go, it does seem to just layer the snuff perfectly in your nose. I do prefer the traditional methods though.
@Theatre hahahaha…awesome
That’s just about the same one. With the hose removed I load it directly to the port on the pump, there’s a valve of some sorts in there that keeps the snuff from going into the pump. On my model I load the blue port. I use it when I’m stuffed up and can’t sniff it properly. It’s definitely staying in my rotation and if it was small and portable, would be used even more.
I’m thinking about modifying a small squirt gun. Ideally it would be able to hold a certain amount of ammo (snuff).
Well…
I can dream, can’t I?
What about one of those slurpy things you use to clean out a baby’s nose? That might actually work pretty good.
…a modified booger buster…that is actually brilliant and all you’d need is the booger buster and a small funnel type thing to put on the end to hold the snuff.
You could modify a miniature Henry vacuum cleaner to go on reverse. You could probably take about 50 grams at once that way. Or with a big one you could take 5000 grams at once. That’s for the manly snuffer - think Chuck Norris or Clint Eastwood..
Just suck up the snuff, take off the end and insert the pipe into your nostril, turn it on reverse and go to snuff heaven. It’s an honourable way to die
Is that a mini rug and hoover, or a giant hand?
Can’t help but feel if you used a full size Henry for that, that you might just end up standing in your living room with everything coated in brown, including yourself.
Bah ha ha ha. I’am getting out my tire pump.
Another less than majestic way of taking snuff :
it certainly is creative… I dont think I could do that in public without getting arrested. It would also have that latex stink.
