Anyone have any snuffs that go particularly well with a certain brand of Scotch? Or any liquor really. What I’m about to say may seem heresy to certain types of Scotch lovers, but I’m finding the Spanish Gem and Toque Peanut Butter both go amazingly well with a sip or two of Laphroaig 10 year, drunk straight, or at most with a small bit of water. The sweetness and tobacco flavour in those two really rounds things out for its taste, at least to me. Has anyone else hit on any drink/snuff pairings that really go together. Also, as far as scotch goes, I’m not too much of a snob. Good scotch is good scotch, be it single malt or otherwise. I seem to recall someone on here saying they’ve found blended scotches that taste as good or better than any single malt, so by all means toss me a recommendation. I’ve just tried the Laphroaig tonight for the first time, and I’ve got to say it beats the pants off my father’s Dewar’s or Johnny Walker red/black in terms of taste and complexity.

I like about any toast with Makers 46 Kentucky Bourbon Whisky. Must be an Irish combo there, lol. of course isn’t Irish Whiskey spelt wit an e? edm
Irish whiskey it is. I think toasts go well with all types of whiskey and brandys too.
Toasts yes I agree with that. Also I like something like F&T Morlaix or Seville depending on the type of Whisk(e)y. I think the toasts go best with Bourbon, and the perfumed go with less sweet Scotch or Irish. I always seem to break out the Golden Cardinal when I have a drink as well.
