A few years ago the movie Inglorious Basterds featured a snuff taking Brad Pitt. This peaked my interest and indirectly introduced me to snuff. Ive just been curious as of late if any other movies with a snuff taking character exist.

Murder Ahoy! (1964) A Miss Marple film which is not based on an Agatha Christie story. In it, Miss Marple is a trustee on the board that oversees the running of an old wooden sailing ship which is used to rehabilitate young criminals. The film opens with a trustee dropping dead during a board meeting. Miss Marple discovers that he died because somebody put poison in his snuff! Great fun as are all of Margaret Rutheford’s portrayals of Miss Marple! There are 2 or 3 snuff sniffers in this one!

In Star Trek “Deep Space 9” Episode 7 of the second season (Rules of Acquisition) the Grand Nagus offers Commander Sisko a hit of his Beetle snuff, the commander refuses and then he takes 2 loud sniffs of it, sneezing loudly after. It´s good to think that even in space there will be snuff !!!

Grand Nagus Zek was a recurring character in DS9, I think in every episode he was in there was beetle snuff. One episode he lost his mind, and gave up snuff among other things. At the end of the episode he’s recovered and one of the first things he does is ask for snuff. :)>-

The film Waterloo has a scene where two generals partake. Something blended by an “Old jew in Alexandria”.
Les Miserables with Liam Neeson and Geoffrey Rush (1998).
Inspector Javert (Rush) does snuff several times from what appears to be a shell snuffbox.
Then he drowns himself in the Seine. Â I wonder what happened to his snuffbox?

I just saw Les Miserables recently and was thinking of the same scene.  Much prefer this version to the more recent one with Hugh Jackman.
