I’m going to Hong Kong in the new year, and according to the customs and excise department, bringing in snuff as a passenger is apparently not permitted. Does anyone know if it’s possible to buy snuff in Hong Kong? Thanks in advance.

From what I have heard you can find snuff in Shanghai at a tobacconist. I’m sure there is snuff somewhere in HK.

I think Poschle has a distrubtion headquater there, so you should at least be able to buy some of their snuffs in Hong Kong

I would be shocked if there was any product, of any kind, that you couldn’t buy in Hong Kong. I believe there are snuff manufacturers in HK, and it is a major source of snuff bottles (yes, empty, but still). Apparently there are also some extremely well-stocked cigar shops there, which have “tasting rooms” where you can try out flavors that interest you - - this practice isn’t restricted by the no-smoking rules in HK. I have never been - this is just what friends who have visited have told me.
