Does anyone have a friend/colleague that is a massive snuff hog? My boss will use nearly half a gram in a single sitting, and he usually does it 3 - 4 times per day to my snuff. He has never actually owned snuff, he just really enjoys mine. I can’t do crap about it though, getting pissy with your boss about something that he lets you get away with is a bad, bad thing. Sometimes I only bring in stuff he doesn’t like, but we have similar tastes so I’m screwed too =/
Use a 2 compartment snuff box and lace the snuff for your boss with chili powder … Regards Patrick B. Ludwig

Why doesn’t he have snuff of his own? Maybe get him a gift pack and hopefully he’ll leave your snuff alone…?
Lol. I play on a pool league on Wednesday nights. Its a 5 man team and my good friend snuffs too but two of the other guys are always using my snuff all night. I told them to give me some $ and I would order some in for them but they told me their nose was messed up for a couple days after and wasn’t going to use it anymore. That was over a month ago and they are still using my snuff. My friend brought his bullet with snafu in it and told them to try it towards the end of the night so they did and oh man was that funny. It was his turn to shoot and he had to stand there staring at the pool table for almost 5 min trying to regain himself.
Kinda off subject, but how many “normal” pinches is half a gram? I’ve never weighed out a gram of anything before…
I don’t understand that it’s something that he allows you to get away with. It is not illegal to snuff while working is it? Either or… I would buy a large amount of snuff that both of you like and them him the next one is on him and present him with the modest cost. I used to share boxes of cigars with the company president and it worked out real nice.
Where I work, tobacco is a massive taboo. There is nothing specified about tobacco use indoors (other than smoking), and I’m not going to be the one to start it. There are secret smokers and dippers lurking around the company, but few of us know about each other. It’s not something that would get me fired, but any known tobacco use is a very, very bad move in internal politics. No tattoos, no funky hair, facial hair is allowed but frowned upon, 1 piercing in each ear for women only, no public involvement in anything ‘questionable’, etc. It’s fair because it’s within their right to do so. We tolerate it because we all have awesome careers with an awesome company, and we understand that it must be presented in an ultra-conservative light for a public image of stability and reliability. Who would have thought that tobacco could so damned complex?
Start an “Office Snuff Pool”… Everybody puts some money into the pot and snuff is bought exclusively for office use. Who knows??? Maybe he can even put it on the office’s expense account!
I think you should just go with it and be thankful for being able to relate personally and pleasantly with your boss. 2 grams a day means a 25 gram tin will last him more than a couple of weeks. That’s costing you 2 or 3 dollars a week for a good relationship. What goes around comes around. Lots of employees would like to be in your position.
dang mouse that’s right on. Additionaly if you mix herion into your snuff your boss will get addicted to that and if he ever fires you, he’ll feel really sick and have a strong craving to work with you again. (sorry very old joke, from the old joke book of “great” job advice.
