Snuff Hoarder?

Anyone else consider themselves snuff hoarders? I hope I am not alone… lol

Not to worry snuff_it_up, you’re in good company as far as I can tell.

 snuff hoarder no not me  =))  I am all things Tobacco Hoarder amongst all the accessories related to boot.

I would not say I am a hoarder, but I definitely have a case of SAD.

Most of the goods are in a cash for future generations. Most used that are in use are on my dining table, coffee table or in my pocket.

I used to show my girlfriend my new snuffs, and have her smell them and such.  Yeah I don’t do that anymore, because I buy snuff all the time.

Well, I was collecting a lot of new stuff. Now I have about 2,000 grams of Molens De Kralingses tobacco in my freezer… a dedicated freezer for tobacco, ice and some stuff for my job.  I dont think I am a hoarder but prepared. To not run out… for at least 3 years. I have no way to currently buy more snuff using my debit card. So hopefully I figure that out eventually.

I’m not a hoarder, yet. but I want to be
8-}

Hoarder? Not me. I am just prepared for the financial, zombie or what the heck apocalypse… Aren’t we all???

Amen!!! 8-}

There is no better time to buy snuff except right now. Prices rarely ever go down.
 I am glad I have a larger than normal snuff library to enjoy. I can’t afford to buy any of the latest and greatest since I can no longer work and now live on a tight budget. Will I run out anytime soon I don’t worry. I am here today I may not be here tomorrow.

 My favorite Scotch had been discontinued. Some snuff I loved had changed batches and are no longer the great snuffs they were when originally produced.

So hourde away;Someday they may make it illegal to ship snuff world wide .Some countries already are banning imports of all tobacco. Sure you can still make your own with a little knowhow.

@snuff_it_up you’re not alone. I don’t hoard purposely; just may rate of insufflation (which is moderately high) can’t keep up with my rate of acquisition (SAD). :smiley:

Horder, ME???

Don’t be silly… now I’m down to about 2 kilos in the house!

I have noticed that getting an exact same snuff from tin to tin is pretty hard to come by. I would like to find a variety I like and grow it. I found quite a few online. It seems like a home made, home grown snuff supply would really be ideal.

I’m with @stogie

Zombies scare me and they might wipe out my snuff stash.  The horror!!

I have snuff in my former beer fridge, a few 38 gallon Igloo ice chests, on my desk, next to my La Z Boy, the bathroom, nightstand, car and other spots…just in case.

I’m  a snuff “junkie” and try to get any new offering available.

@coreymillia   @chefdaniel is your guy!!

I know! I have read nothing but great reviews about his blends. Yet to try any, I am the most boring snuffer.  Too busy to even worry about trying new things any more. I use 2 kinds primarily. And most schmalzlers before bed.

 @chefdaniels I was wondering how many plain ones you offer. Or say something with a pine scent?

i tried about 400+ varieties but it comes down to approx 20,
which i have stocked in larger amounts for everyday enjoyment.

i stock specially the snuffs which i really like and that are unfortunately discontinued
(Villiger Braniff Whisky, Rumneys Export in the original styled box, etc…)

I can see buying piles of scotches but most other snuffs don’t hold up very well long term. I just through out a fair ton of snuff over the past few weeks and I’m still not done. I think stockpiling snuff is probably a huge waste of money compared to other forms of tobacco which age much better (pipe tobacco & cigars)

Yes! :smiley:

Actually I have more than 100 types and 3 Kg of snuff in my stash.

All I can say is that I am a hoarder because of fear, not that some legislation is passed that prohibits ALL tobacco online selling (but it is still possible anyway) but for the fear of not being able to get some of my favourite snuffs because of discontinuation, companies going out of business, change of batches, cataclysmical event that make impossible to buy more snuff…

In the end its a pain in the ass to have your snuff in good storage order but I feel satisfied when I think that I have my snuff need covered for a while.

Agree 100% with @basement_shaman
