As much as I have moaned about G Smith & Sons, they have a sign up in their window that made me chuckle. Not too hot on HTML so I’ll type it out for you: In 2007, a draconian commando unit known as The Government penalised, and sent to social prison, smokers for crimes they did not commit. These smokers promptly escaped a ban from maximum security to the outside pavements. Today, still hated by The Government, they survive as Smokers Of Fortune. If you’re a smoker and you need an alternative, and if no one else can help - and if you can find them - maybe you can contact… THE SNUFF TEAM
Thats great toffenose, thanks for sharing that one.Did you know its still legal to smoke pipes and cigars in a tobacconists but not cigarettes. And also prison funnily enough. Simon
Just checking, you guys know that’s (re-worded) from the old TV how, the “A” team, right? You Tube Link
@ miamimark - Yeah, I’m old enough to remember that the first time round
I wasn’t sure if that show ever made it overseas AND if most of the people on this forum were old enough to remember it. I BARELY remember it!
My goodness, someone still remembers the A-Team,my favourite '80s series besides Magnum(AND M*A*S*H ofcourse! ). EDIT: Nice M*A*S*H theme on classical guitar: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bRXauNsXv4
I never was crazy about the “A” team, but Magnum PI was my absolute favorite! I used to imagine I was him, driving a ferrari, living in Hawaii!
Ok, I do wear the hawain style shirts, but NO short shorts!
C’mon guys the General Lee was way cooler than that ugly red Ferrari. I can’t comment on the guys involved, as I would hate to admit to anything like that in public.
My mom liked Magnum PI a lot too. Used to watch it whenever my dad was at work.
Yeah but Tom Selleck looked soooo gay - I wonder why all the mums & grannies never picked up on that?
Well so did the british guy and they seemed to argue a lot. I guess people can really miss what they don’t want to see sometimes.
Bob Higgins is a great name. Yeah I couldn’t remember his name for the life of me.
