WE had a thread recently about snuff in fiction. Whilst perusing in my local library today, I came across the following book: Snuff Fiction by Robert Rankin Published by Doubleday ISBN 0385 409443 I’ve not read it yet, but the blurb says - ‘rejoice and give thanks, snuff is making a comeback…enter the glamorous world of snuff snorting’ I only scanned it as yet, so can’t give any real insight, but it seems to be a comedy thriller involving a snuff blender!! Thought you might like to know…
That sounds interesting Snuffster, make sure you tell us all about it…but don’t ruin the ending! lol
Ive just started it, its funny. Ill give a review when I finish
I’ve just finished reading Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell by Susanna Clarke. It’s a really good read - I got it for holiday reading, didn’t get the chance to finish it whilst I was away, but have just put it down. In it is a reference to Kendal Brown. Jonathan Strange requests a pinch of it from the gentleman with the thistle-down hair, after a particular ‘draining’ piece of magic…
Nosebag, I recently read that one too! Quite entertaining.
Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell is a great book, read it twice and listened to the audio book on my journey to work.
