If it doesn’t violate any rules, and the admins can delete this page if it does, I thought it would be nice to start a weekly quiz/contest with a prize of a new tin/can/tub of SNUFF going to the winner. I will gladly start it off and hope to pass the torch along to another SNUFFHOUSE member who will provide next weeks quiz/contest and snuff prize. I suppose I should provide some rules/conditions. I can only send the snuff to people within the 48 continental United States, for economic reasons as well as possible legal requirements/limitations. However, everyone can play and if you are a winner who lives outside of America you can select a Snuffhouse member/friend in America to receive your prize. You will be happy you won and they will be happy they got your snuff!!! : ) The contest will run for 6 days and the deadline to get your guesses in will be 6PM EST Saturday, 13 July. PLEASE ONLY ONE ENTRY PER PERSON! I will anounce the winner on Sunday, 14 July and post the correct answers. The winner can then send me the American address to ship the prize to. That being said, this weeks prize is a small can (1.15 oz.) of: MOST CORRECT GUESSES GETS IT! (say it 5 times fast) For this contest: I have chosen one member from each of the following bands. They could be alive or dead/former or active. You must GUESS which member I have chosen. If you are unfamiliar with any groups you can ‘google’ them and find their members. Simply copy and paste the following set of MUSIC GROUPS into your response then simply type the LAST NAME of the band member that you guess I have preseleted. For example: 1. The Beatles-McCartney Let’s keep it simple and fun! *IN CASE OF A TIE - THE PRIZE WILL GO TO THE EARLIEST ENTRANT* The early bird gets the snuff! So get your guesses in early! I’m not sure the rules are clear. I think, but not sure, Its kind of like “Guess which number I am thinking of?” ; unless there is some clue in your question that a lot of people are missing. As for me, I’ll opt out, since Honey Bee I can find at the corner store cheap and don’t love it anyway, but I do like contests and appreciate the enthusiasm you are showing.

Thanks for the input @cstokes4, @thorgrimnr & @Xander. I understand some people aren’t familiar with the bands I listed. I tried to choose well known popular groups that are historically significant with the idea that once this thing got going the subject matter of the quiz would change each week. Could be classical music, movies, novels etc. The reason for GUESSING is simple - I don’t think it would be fair to ask questions that are easily answered by ‘googling’ the answers. lol This makes it fair to everyone and gives everyone an equal chance at winning, even people who, as stated before, are unfamiliar with these bands and their associated members. I suppose one way around this would be to switch to a more diverse set of, let me make a new word here, GUESStions. (I’m silly like that) Anyway, I am happy to make whatever changes I can that would make this more fun for everyone while at the same time maintaining a level of fairness without encouraging some dishonest participation.
