So I use to smoke then I changed to dip(chew) and for last 15 years only snuff. My question, that might be taboo in a forum celebrating the awesome world of snuff is.
Is it safer than chew?
I mean it stays in the nose almost all day like chew in your lip . I know more people chew than use snuff , and more studies have been done obviously with dip that show concern about the safety of it.
What are your thoughts, concerns and opinions on the safety of snuff that might linger in the back of your mind? Nothing good is safe it seams, and I have no desire to quite . Just again curious about what my fellow sniffers think .
Thanks !
Nicotine in any form can cause an increase in blood pressure, heart rate, flow of blood to the heart and a narrowing of the arteries (vessels that carry blood). Nicotine may also contribute to the hardening of the arterial walls, which in turn, may lead to a heart attack.
Moderation is the key.
Nasal snuff seems to be the most innocent of all the other forms of tobacco, but when taking many doses of strong nicotine repeatedly and consistently all day everyday you still put yourself in danger of all the bad thing nicotine can cause, even if you are getting the nicotine in the form of snuff.
