I’m aware that there are those, including myself, who enjoy mixing various snuffs to create personalized concoctions. However, for me personally, I often prefer chasing a bump with a different snuff immediately after. One of my all-time favorite combos is a nice pinch of O&G then a bump of Poschl President. I’m curious if anyone else enjoys snuff chasers as much as I do, and if so, tell us what combos you enjoy putting together.
I alway sneeze when taking a pinch too soon after another.
A pinch of Sudfrucht, followed by another pinch of Sudfrucht .
… I’ve been sniffing it all day, I can’t help it… When they say you keep going back for more, they aren’t lying!
It is a great thing Sudfrucht comes in such a convient size. I sometimes pack w/Dr.Rummneys Exclusive, followed by a small amount of Super Himilaya.
@ Pot Poe
That sounds like a pretty exotic combo, a South African powerhouse menthol with a golden Indian menthol. I’ll certainly have to give it a try. I have a real soft spot for 5 Photo snuff.
@ MikeMoose
Nothing seems appropriate to even consider chasing down the fruitiness of Sudfrucht; it’s simply an incredible desert.
Lemon Toast, followed by a pinch of Sturco. Perfect for the oncoming winter.
Dam! I thought Gosen had discovered a group called snuff chasers a bit like chubby chasers. Oh well we can but dream.
@Gosen’s Schnoz : The only thing I could think of chasing it down with would be a pinch of Zwiefacher!
A schmalzler followed by a scotch, I forget which member led me to this combo but it works great
O&G then Rooster. Kind of like a beer and a shot.
I also go for O&G followed by a toast, usually Wilsons #22.
@Toque: I know several folks who have a fetish for pipe or cigar smokers, but I have yet to meet anyone who finds snuffing sexy. I’m sure they are out there somewhere, though!
@PipenSnusnSnuff yeaahhh any girl I’ve met gives me a very odd look when I stick my fingers up to my nose with a brown powder.
F&T Santo Domingo, followed quickly by Bordeaux. As the latter fades, the former comes through with it’s woody loveliness.
@Talljim I am going to have to try that one as I love both of those.
I like using a mix of bruton/DW as a chaser. It gives a nice extra nic hit and dries the nose and lessens drip from the perfumey snuffs.
I don’t really chase snuff with snuff as much as I mix them. I think the craziest mix I’ve made so far is NTSU yellow, dholakia white, and toque quit. The little snuff tin I keep it in is labelled “The devil’s snuff” lol.
@Joesnuffer LOL! :))
McCrystals Anistette followed by their Raspberry, hey presto, a raspberry sambuca party in your nose!
@TallJim I’m going to try that. It just so happens that I have both of those snuffs. I hadn’t planned on opening my McCrystals Anisette yet, but now you’ve given me the motivation. Your F&T combo sounds good too, but I don’t have Bordeaux… yet.
@Zanaspus I tried the O&G and Rooster combo, and whew, it was a doozy.
@AlanH I tried the O&G with a different toast (F&T HDT), but it was great too. It really brought out the woodsy scent.
Great stuff, y’ all! This is fun trying out your various combos with what I’ve got on-hand.
Just tried the O&G followed by no22. Belting!
Just discoverd a nice combo. McC mild lemon followed by WoS crumbs of comfort.
@TallJim I need to try WoS Crumbs! In all the years I’ve snuffed, I can’t understand how I’ve been able to subconsciously avoid CofC! I’m going to order that next month.
I’ve also recently stumbled upon a great mix: Bernard’s Gekachelter Virginie then NTSU (yellow tin). Earthy goodness with a touch of Italian leather!
Christmas pudding and elmo’s reserve. Kind of like Christmas pudding and custard.
Whoa, try Dholakia Medicated, and chase it up with Dholakia Swiss Chocolate! :">
