Snuff box success!

J

im happy to report that the “snuff” box that has the picture of the collesium on it does indeed work as a snuff box. the lid is very tight and seals better than the old one i had. the only snuff that leaks out of it which is what is caught between the rim and the lid which is so little that its not considered a loss to me and ones that has fell out you can shake the hell out of the box and it wont leak. its the perfect size for me so i will be looking for more in this style with different pictures. the white piece comes out which i like so i may only use that for moister snuff or whenever the box corrodes if it does corrode that is. a cheap alternative for expensive styligh snuff boxes!

Glad to hear your box is snuff proof, minor leakage is fine so long as you dont wind up with a pocket full of snuff. Be careful not to put anything else in that pocket or you can scratch it up real bad in no time.

that is a good observation my friend. i will remember that for reference

That’s classy! For my purposes, I’ve found that empty General Snus plastic “cans” make awesome snuff boxes. Lids seal tight, little to no leakage, and free if you’re a user of the product.

these hold 5-6 grams of snuff. they leak if you fill it full of very finely ground snuff but a more medium grind snuff wont leak. operfect for the average snuffer. half full can hold a days worth
