I sort of got caught up in the moment when I saw this, and bought it only really knowing how one of the tools ( spoon ) is used.

This was labeled as a “Chinese Snuff and Pipe kit.” Not sure of the purpose for the ring on top. Maybe a funnel…  The tweasers could be used a number of ways I suppose, and not sure about the use of the curved looking tool… Must be intended as the pipe tool… ?

Looks like a fair amount of work was put into carving all these items… Think that is what really made me buy it.  I will likely find a use for the spoon for sure. Just not so sure about the rest of the tools !  Kind of a neat kit though…

Anyone care to take a guess as to the type of wood this is ?

That’s beautiful where did you get that and do they have more?

Allow me to throw in a completely uneducated guess:

The tongs are designed for taking your pipe tobacco out of the jar and transferring it into the pipe.

The spoon isn’t actually a spoon, but a pipe rest.

The Curved thing is a bowl reamer.

The donut ring thing is to put over the bowl of your pipe while you light it so that you don’t char it to much.

As for the wood…it’s the kind that comes from a tree.

The tool wood looks to be teak ,the pipe part looks like rosewood ,It seams to be missing a stem unless the pipe part is intended to be a mortar and the bottom is cut in a way to grind tobacco? The tweezers are for those annoying nose hairs,The spoon is the pestle and your thumb fits in there for leverage .The curved tool is the snuff spoon. The ring may be a funnel to fill a snuff vile .This is all speculation on my part

yep i call rosewood also but probably for everything

Here is what another guess was from a friend of mine last night…

This set might be for tea rather than snuff. The scoop is similar to many Japanese tea scoops and the long “tamper” could be a stiring tool.

Stefan…

Got it off eBay… This seller did not have any more, and have not seen a set like this anyplace else so far…

In China, very small yixing clay teapots are popular, and this is definitely a set of tea tools. The scoop is for transferring tea to the teapot, and the funnel helps avoid spilling the loose tea everywhere because the opening of the teapot is small. The pick can be used to help clean or unclog the teapot if needed. The tongs are for handling the small teacups while rinsing them with hot water.

Thank you jrf  !

The good news is that tea and snuff go merrily hand in hand.
