Snuff and, impotency.

Has anyone heard of anyone becoming impotent off of snuff? My girlfriend thinks because it is still nicotine it would eventually cause impotency like smoking does.

After a heavy nights snuffing, my nose feels very stiff in the morning …

It’s not nicotine that causes impotency, it’s the build up of shit in your veins and arteries that causes it, tbh I have never heard of not being able to get it up from having smoked or had a heart condition.

It’s probably one of those rare side effects anti nicotine people like to bring up for shock value.

She mentioned something of nicotine narrowing blood vessels.

Nicotine is no more dangerous than caffeine, it’s the method of delivery that will or won’t kill you.

Well I have always said. Its not nicotine that will kill me, its my damn heart suddenly stopping. Fickle bugger.

{Not a Doctor!} I think that these effects are associated with smoking, but that this is more a combination of tars and other substances causing arterial damage and also restricting the amount of oxygen in the blood supply by displacing it with carbon mono & dioxide. I don’t believe any of these effects are associated with snuff use, but would be interested if anyone has more specific medical knowledge on this.

what MisterPaul said is, I think, true but Igglet’s girlfriend is also correct in part, nicotine does constrict peripheral blood vessels. I don’t believe it does so to arteries though. At any rate its effect is temporary. (also not a Doctor, so take this as hearsay).

It looks that her thinking will be a stronger influence on impotency than tobacco could ever be.

“My girlfriend thinks because it is still nicotine it would eventually cause impotency like smoking does.” -------------------------------------------------------------------- I agree with @Juxtaposer… and would add that: One of the major causes of impotency is when a romantic partner makes strong declarations and comments that are so ignorant and clueless that they destroy all traces of libido, sex drive, and passion in their lover. As a result, said lover suffers not only impotency but is given to strange behaviors such as going online to some obscure forum in the back alleys of the internet to complain about this sad state of affairs. >:)

That hasn’t stopped me yet.

@‌Igglet

My girlfriend thinks because it is still nicotine it would eventually cause impotency like smoking does. When she says that you say “no it won’t, but you getting fat will”. Remember, chicks dig jerks. She has questioned your manhood. She should be verbally spanked for that unless you want her to continue questioning your erectile abilities.

RIP Bill.

Uhmmmm … with all due respect and everything, and forgive me if I’m out of line here, but apart from this issue with the snuff, would you say it’s a GOOD relationship?

Yes I would.

I want to clearly state it is not happening now or, before I just wondered if at like 50 it would.

Everyone’s different. I’ve been a smoker/snuffer/for 50 years and it hasn’t happened, yet… Others don’t smoke at all and have a problem in middle age or younger. You’d best do a search on the literature and see what factors play into developing a need for Tadalafil.
