There’s pretty much nothing I like better than starting the day (with breakfast since I stopped smoking, used to be a smoke and a coffee) by lounging around on the computer for about 3 hours snuffing constantly, drinkng tea/coffee and listening to music, before lunch. Problem being I’m not getting a lot done such as DIY of which I’m not a big fan. Do I need to lay off the snuff or cut back (both difficult) or get an energy snuff? I will admit that when I smoked I seemed to do more as it did not seem to have this mellowing affect that snuff does and time seems to go in pretty quickly doing nothing much. May I again tap into the universe of wisdom that is Snuffhouse.
That’s funny, for me it’s just the opposite, most snuffs give me a nice jolt of energy and when I go without for an hour or two I’m damn near useless. Try some scotches or white snuffs or toasts, those are to me the most stimulating.
I’ve been using Dholakia White all night for energy (as well as black coffee). Otherwise, I would have passed out at my work bench hours ago.
Nearly time for my usual afternoon nap. but then I’m climbing aboard my trusty pedal powered steed -and it’s me who has to do the pedalling- for a trip into the countryside. I did that yesterday evening also so maybe that’s why I’m a bit tired but I still think it is something to do with the snuff. Have to get out here while the weather is nice incase it starts raining for days/weeks or something.
i find the only snuff that actually gives me the will to move is grand cairo(or a mix its strong in), and thats after the 5 or so mintes of sitting and enjoying its buzz. firedrac and strong english menthols can keep me awake too, they are 50/50 on that though. ‘energy’ snuffs dont seem to work.

May 1st, and a winter storm warning here Minnesota. 6-9 inches of snow accumulation forecasted… :-&
Try skipping the lounging around on the computer and things will be much different.
Keep getting out there and exercise (just keep moving, no matter what kind of kinetic movement you do ) Lack of moderate exercise and proper nutrition ( food with proper values… not dead processed food ) creates diseases. Fatigue most times is a sign of unhealthy bowels. Of course big business markets the hell out of garbage factory food, because its cheap to manufacture, has a long shelf life and most people respond to their advertising campaigns. Traditional medicine treats diseases by its symptoms, not preventing them by the above. But corporate America and global subsidiaries, don’t want to tell you that the Food being marketed to you, as well as " MOST " medicines are poisoning our systems. Do the right thing for your body and your body will do right by you. Fail to prepare or prepare to fail. Worst thing I currently do is snuff. I know I would be healthier without snuff.
I found energy snuffs disappointing. The most stimulating snuff for me is Bruton. I’m sure that stuff is made by Walter White
I’ve never had an energy snuff but I strongly suspect that they’re useless
+1 on the exercise, I have way more energy if I exercise a bit every day. Started taking the bicycle to the post office instead of the Tacoma, takes just a bit longer to do the 2 1/2 miles, saves wear and tear on the vehicle, and I get to irritate some of the more irascible motor-bound. Just hoping they don’t run me over in their pique (up trucks), lol.
Energy snuff isn’t the answer here. If I were you, I’d get the DIY or whatever you need doing done first - then spend some time surfing the web and snuffing, it will seem like a reward.
Fresh back from my cycle but something didn’t seem right. My heart just didn’t seem in it this evening. Felt bored and to whacked by the snuff so I cut down a bit and could feel myself coming around some. It is a beautiful evening and still some snow on the mountains in the distance. I think I should cut down my pinch rate. I’ve been using a lot to stop me being tempted to smoke again but I don’t think I need to worry about that any longer. While out I gave a non-tobacco user friend a good pinch of my FOJ FIreDrac blend. I think it whacked him out also in fact I think he might have gone a bit pale. He went very quiet and sort of just staring.
Forget energy snuffs, drink a can of red bull and snuff d white.sorted.
Lay off the caffeine, switch to yerba mate or holy basil tea. Coffee and tea are a good source of caffeine but to drink all day it looses its effect and you crash hard. Make a list of chores to get done and schedule the time to do them. Main thing to remember is an object in motion stays in motion, there will be plenty of time to rest when your dead.
I seem to remember a little difficulty during the transition. When I smoked, smoking was a break. So I’d do my work and chores around the smoke breaks. Then I’d sit and read at the computer for the break. When the cig was gone, back to work it was. When snuff came on the scene, it became harder to separate break time work time and tobacco use. There are different ways to regulate this yourself. You just have to think about what you are doing. For example: you can carry the snuff around with you and from time to time take a pause, snuff, continue to pause for a minute to reflect, and then back to work. Or if you are like me, when you’re too busy to even do that, a snus rides your lip constantly. I’m sure you will find the right mix, its just an adjustment period now.
I wouldn’t write off energy snuffs altogether. I picked up some guarana powder and make my own mixed with ginseng powder and of course tobacco.
I slept great again and woke up tired again, had a few snuffs and they have kind of given me a nausea but I am going to go out nevertheless shortly and do some messages and then hopefully tackle some bathroom cleaning later but I’m not overly confident about the later task. A lot of good and appreciated comments in this thread. I would love to understand though how a lot of people seem to be energised with snuff whereas I seem to be having the exact opposite experience at the moment but I really have no idea why that might be. When I cycle I know I am definitely stronger and fitter at it than I was a few months ago when I smoked and I find cycling makes me want to eat healthier too so I try to do that. I never eat takaways or processed meals but speaking of processed meals it migh be possible that I will get a job in one of those factories in the not to distant which will probably be hell but needs must as they say. Maybe I might get some more nic gum (which I had stopped taking again) while out and have a snuff rest for a bit. I never remember having this tiredness with NRT unless I also used snuff with it and then I felt pretty stoned.
Messages done, even bought some DIY stuff, but will I use it? Left the nic gum out as I really don’t want to go back to taking that. I think I’m going to try reducing the caffeine which I think could very well be the culprit so I’m drinking water as I type. I surely must drink to much caffeine and I think I would rather enjoy the snuff than drink a lot of caffeine if I have to choose between the two. So hoping this works and thanks @basement_shaman for giving me the clue that my brain needed. Should soon have an idea if it is helping. Probably will have some caffeine withdrawal so will cut it down gradually. I think I have gotten into a bit of a rut after lying around all winter and a lengthy spell of unemployment and unsuccessful job hunting is very demoralising but I know I’m only one of 20 million or so and that’s just in Europe. Better weather and longer days to do stuff, ruduced caffeine, avoid computer lounging until I have conquered some task or at least made a start and try to sort out my snuff usage to rewarding level. I think @Xander is pretty much on the money with the last point. I think thats a plan. Soon be a new person thanks to Snuffhouse.
cold water splashed on the face works better then any energy supplement to get the blood flowing
