Snuff and drink combinations

Do you have favourite snuff to go with certain type of drink? Beer, coffee, tea, whiskey and so on. For me it’s usually a schmalzer or any coarse snuff with stout, a toast with ale or lager and some menthol with tea and coffee. I don’t use snus with drinks, a pint of stout and a pinch of snuff is the way to go!

I like Toque Quit when I have a few beers. For me, it’s one I can do large amounts of and keep going. If I got clogged up and was still drinking a bit,I may stray and start searching out a cigarette, Lol,. I agree with the schmalzler and a good stout, though!

I took some Toque Raspbery Menthol while drinking hot chocolate (the good stuff, not from powder) and it was rather nice. But usually, it’s coffee with any snuff (or any pipe, for that matter.)

Shmalzlers, basic SPs, and of course McCrystal’s Hops. Big ole piles.

Try a good schmalzer and some Glenfiddich.

Heck, I was perched at the local greasy spoon last night with a mug of coffee and a tin of Toque St. Clements, that was good enough for ME…

any snuff with my black morning coffee is awesome.

Going for the craziest answer I can while still being honest. Yen Pox goes well with Gaiwith and Hoggarth. When I say it goes well it some how covers the smell just enough that you can stomach drinking something that taste like dog vomit smells. P.s. I’am useing the old chinnese definition of yen pox not the modern street slang. As far as recomending this combination I don’t, unless you want to see what desperation means. (o.k. yen pox is tea made from opium ash, it tastes worse then anything you’ve ever tried it. Yes I’d rather do lines of any snuff that would be more plesant.). I really like Ganga Dholakia with Bombay sapphire very wonderfull. I like F&T high dry toast with any decent whiskey. A strong menthol goes awesome with a good brandy really opens the nose up good and with brandy smell is the most important part of the flavor. With coffee and tea what ever the hell snuff I feel like taking at the moment.

Some months ago I felt English and got few Fuller’s bitters from offie and tried to enjoy them with Gawith Hoggart English Rose, the famous snuff from mother of all parliaments. Didn’t work out well, snuff simply isn’t very good, read later that some MP actually complained about it. Used it in my own blends in small amounts. Bitters were great though.

SPs with a Gin & Tonic, white wine and Pale Ale. Toasts with whisky and red wine. Plain or mildly scented dark snuffs with best bitter/porters etc and coffee. Menthols with morning coffee/tea. Schmalzers with coffee and rum/liqueurs. Floral snuffs with afternoon tea. Floor sweepings with cheap lager. @AllanH. English Rose is a fine snuff in my opinion and is one of GHs most popular, but it is too floral to take with ale. The MP who complained about it was fed up with not having any variation. He was the only MP who used the snuffbox and he’s dead now.

Three Thistles Strong with lager and GH Kendal Brown with Stout.

Andech’s Spezial and Tazo Joy

This might seem like an easy one, but a screwdriver with toque St.Clements is nice. Might be too much of an citrus overload for some people though.

Toque SP Extra is great with a nice hot cup of chai tea.

Toque Chocolate with coffee, the experience is quite good for me~

Anyone drink Irish whiskey? I was wandering what would be a good one. Ive already had Jameson and Bushmills.

Paddy is my favourite of standard ones. All Bushmills’ are great esp. 1680 and John Locke malt as well.

Gawith and Hoggarth’s jasmine with matcha green tea, molasses milk with Bernard’s Aecht Altbayericht. Toque’s Christmas Pudding paired up with Jameson whiskey eggnog.
