Has anyone else noticed vivid, bizarre dreams after using snuff heavily before bed? Lately I’ve been using Gawith’s Kendall Brown in large quantities before going to sleep and leaving most of it in my nose to enjoy that wonderful scent as I drift off. It’s been giving me some really wild dreams! I also usually wake up around 3AM and take another couple of pinches before going back to sleep. I love it, really neat side-effect.
Is the 3AM snuff to see if the dream will start where it left off? I have been doing nightcaps of snuff and haven’t noticed any changes but I rarely remember a dream (has to be really good)
The only effect I notice if I use snuff heavily before bed is an extremely sore throat when I wake up.
This used to happen to me when I was on the patch. i don’t notice it with snuff though.

Haha nah, I just always seem to wake up at that time and think to myself “well I’m up now, why not?”
@horus92 I was wondering if you were going to catch that. If I wake in the night I will do something myself (snuff, raid the fridge, etc…)
Mugwort is great for dreams. That weed is everywhere.
Snuff before bed along with ZMA or even just Zinc will give you some great sleep with VERY Vivid Dreams
Ya know, it is so weird that you posted this. I have been having some really strange, vivid dreams lately and I did not connect the two. Odd!!!
Yeah, let’s see, last night I had to run away from home because every surface was covered with stinkbugs, and I somehow entered an alternate universe where I was inside a strange D&D-type video game as well as living in the “real world” simultaneously, that’s about all I can remember. Before I woke up some dwarf from the village in the game made me some magic boots, the dwarf was 5,000 years old. It was truly trippy. It wasn’t even as weird as normal because I didn’t use the Kendall Brown, that snuff seems to do it to me the most, maybe because it’s so coarse the nicotine is absorbed more evenly over a long period of time.
horus that’s just my real life. Stop stealing from my life for your dreams.
No dreams but I’ve got into what seems a completely ingrained habit now of waking up for a pinch at least once a night, usually twice rarely more. It’s not a problem it just happens. Whats ZMA? I like dreams and hardly ever remember them.
I don’t remember my dreams either (I suspect they are so fucked up my brain has to hide them from me to keep me sane) If snuff helped me to have vivid dreams I could remember I’d be doing a hell of alot more of it.
It would happen when I was smoking a LOT of strong RYO especially. I do get dreams where I’m in some sort of shop and find some cool sounding new snuffs, but then am bummed out when I wake up and realize they don’t exist.
Evenings where I get an order of new snuff and go on a binge, I go to bed with a bunch of nicotine and have really funky dreams. Some so weird that I wake up wondering if I’m really awake.
@Abraxas ZMA is a combination of two minerals, zinc and magnesium, and then vitamin B6, they are combined at a certain ratio into a pill. It is used by athletes and weightlifters because it can help with sleep and also increases testosterone. Here is an article about zinc and men (testosterone): muscle-health-fitness.com/raising-testosterone-levels.html/ Here are some reads on ZMA and vivid dreams: supplementreviews.com/forum/index.php?topic=462.0
Cheers!

How do you know it has to be really good? not noticed this before, though the most nicotine i had at bedtime was a snus pouch i left in. i woke up to find a brow stain on the sheet (head height, snus you filthy animals), but no sign of the little tobacco teabag. anywhere. 24hr later, still havent found it.
Well, she was… I guess you might have an idea (laughing) @Firestarter0 not to be funny but you may have chewed it and swallowed it. I have read that we swallow flies and such in our sleep. The cough that might wake you up just might be something other than congestion
What gives me the worst dreams is physical discomfort. Nicotine has been swirling around in me for.oh, 40 years so I couldn’t tell if that were the culprit. The only dreams I REMEMBER involve women. I apperently talk alot then. Just this morning the wife asked what movie I was making. Huh? But Nic is classified variously, but firstly as a stimulant, which can affect dreams.
