Knowing the benefits of snuff, I will often quip to my wife when she has some ailment, “take snuff”. To which she will turn up her nose and say she will not. She gets annoyed, because I will say this for her headaches, sinus problems, fatigue, heat flashes, upset stomach, insomnia, migraine, bug bites and rashes (thank G-d she’s not that bad off, really! things just come and go here and there!). My son (18) complained last night about his sinuses, and the horrid taste and smell of the spray the doctor gave him. Of course, I said “take snuff”, and got berated by the wife, “how dare you suggest your son take snuff”. I simply replied I was sure it would help. Everyone grunts smugly and writes it off. I could be a snake oil seller.

I find that taking too much American snuff of high nicotine content actually casues me to feel more fatigued. I took a large hit of RR Mills Saturday night and I had to sit down and nearly fell asleep…of course, the 4 beers I had quaffed before the snuff-taking may have contributed to this.
