Smorgasbord of Snuffs.

Just put an order in. Over the last 24 hours this community has been extremely helpful with helping me put a " Snuff Smorgasbord " together and I appreciate it greatly. The final final list. 1 x Braniff Caribbean 10g 1 x Dholakia Swiss Chocolate 10g 1 x Viking Blonde 25g 1 x Toque Toffee 10g 1 x Ozona Snuffy Weiss 5g 1 x Toque Peanut Butter 10g 1 x Viking Dark 25g Already in the process of completing the next list. Thanks to all. I might go crazy and mix 2.5 g Toque peanut butter with 2.5 g Dholakia Swiss Chocolate and see if something beautiful happens

@Cigshurtmylungs‌ It sure does sound “tasty”. You’ve given me the munchies ! Time to get the peanut butter and cocoa powder and mix up a small batch for a late night snack. :expressionless: Let us know how it works with snuff

List 2 and final list for awhile. Hedges L260 Toque christmas pudding (10G) Abraxas cafe 11 (15G) Abraxas Premium Batch Fin (15G) White elephant (35G) Wilson’s Irish toast 22 McChrystal’s original and genuine n (3.5G) Wilsons Irish high toast 22 (10G) Ozona president (7G) Viking brown 6 Photo Kailash Himtaj Golden If anyone has any recommendations please let me know for the second list. I’ll be putting the majority in separate tiny mason jars for safe keeping. I think I heard they stay good for up to two years? I was hoping a kind soul could let me know how long the snuff should last in mason jars airtight but unrefrigerated. Thanks

So long as you keep things reasoanbly sterile, it should last a good long while.

Nice list; good variety

Can I use plastic containers like these instead of glass mason jars? http://www.papermart.com/clear-p-e-t-dome-jars/id=49732#49732 How much worse would the shelf life be if I used these plastic ones.

It is all about being air tight. Glass to me would be preferable. But air tight is the thing.

Thanks for your response Just got my first order it was fast. It got here about the same time it took my other order from FL to get to NY First order was toque menthol and wilson natural. I’ll post later on again when I give them a go. Mr snuff rocks

@Cigshurtmylungs I kind of like those plastic bottles you found, just be certain they are actually airtight and that they are indeed clean. Good luck in whatever you choose…

I changed snuffy wiess to ozona president thanks to Liz over at mrsnuff. My orders on the way. I’m pushing it as it is, my fiancées not totally on board just yet with the snuff let alone something that looks like snuffy wiess. LOL

Greetings. I just want to throw this out to anyone interested. If not, no big deal. I have a decent supply of glass 50 ml “mini” bottles similar to airline liquor portions. If you want to buy Old Mill snuff in them, let me know and we’ll work something out. They aren’t worth a hoot in hell to pinch from unless you’re Edward Tweezerhands, but they are airtight and work well for tapping out a pinch. Let me know if interested. Cheers

I haven’t shopped for snuff in so long that I don’t even know where my wish list is.

@chefdaniel‌ an old Lousiana Chef hot sauce bottle? Lol

@saucy_jack‌ You devil you. Yes, yes it is. I was once in that cut throat business, so I’ve got all manner of cool bottles kicking around.

@chefdaniel - A suitably quaint packaging for your artisan snuffs; I Iike the look of that a lot

@MisterPaul‌ I’ve got them all over the house in case of a snuff emergency. Handy little buggers and they keep the snuff very fresh. Happy to package future orders in them on request. BTW: Both Mr. Snuff large snuff spoons perform admirably with these wee bottles.

Another good one is the little 1oz hip flasks that are all over ebay. They keep snuff fresh for a long time, and they only cost a couple of bucks each. I actually think they would keep it fresh indefinitely if they were kept closed for storage rather than opened frequently for snuffing.
