I will have a thousand or two of these things when I die. I love them. Great for carrying around multiple snuffs. I use my wooden box for my Tom Buck and the others go in these nifty little snap containers!
i have 5 of them and i really like them as well … they serve as my “flavor of the day” choice … stuff i can’t commit a PC box or heartwood to, but would like to snuff all day once in a while.
I love these little things. However, I made a newbie mistake with them. Someone on the forum hooked me up with about a dozen samples so I could be introduced to more snuff without spending all the money. I put these all in smash boxes and assumed they had a tight seal. About a month later, they were stale as duck bread.
At the risk of offending, you did not use the “proper” smash box. The ones marked www.lacons.com on the bottom are of a denser grade plastic, and have a much better seal than others. I believe i purchased these and recieved samples in these from Tom at Nicotine Rush. They will keep even a moist snuff fresh for years. Even a Poschl Schmalzler is safe in these.

Yeah the ones I got are a great tight seal and keep my snuff fresher than just about anything… (other than an airtight jar or something…)
I’ve had good results with the Poly-Con containers from usplastic.com
I made the newbie mistake of getting too many smashboxes, with 150 of them! I learnt a lot about stale snuff

The ‘poly-con’ boxes mentioned by Hooked is what I have received from Mr Snuff. I’ve had a couple of snuffs that I only pinch from very infrequently sitting in these for about 3 months - no problems so far. I’d definitely get more.

Last time i saw this tread, i couldent log in. The size lacon i’am talking about can only be bought from there website by the 1000. Now as much as i like them, 1000 is quite a few. Poly-cons are what i was compairing to. Much tinner plastic and a floppy lid. Lacons are avaliable at http://snuffgear.com and are the tits.
I got the Lacons from Mr. Snuff and carry them everyday. No problems whatsoever and excellent results.
